History

Established in 1987.

Olson Tire & Auto Service is a company founded in 1987 based on the principles of providing legendary and exemplary service and products to the automotive and light truck marketplace in central Wisconsin. Established in downtown Wausau and adjacent to the courthouse, we have celebrated and participated in the development and uniqueness of this wonderful community.

Our business has grown too. From an early operation of 6 bays and 3 – 4 people, to today’s operation encompassing 11 bays, a carwash and detail shop, a Subway within our walls, and two buildings and 18 people employed.

Our services have expanded as well. We now boast the most ASE Master technicians with L1 Advanced Engine Performance Diagnostics in the area. We offer services for any make, model, year or style of vehicle. We have the most current technology and are completely computerized for records, access and repairs. Our team is also committed to our philosophy we’ve grown so proud of… the Happy Car Place.

Kent is the President and owner of Olson Tire & Auto Service, Inc. Kent is the inspiration and vision that hurdles the company forward. His unfailing commitment to the industry, his associates, and the community are matched only by his love for his family. Kim & Kent have two sons, Evan & Aaron.
