2510 Restaurant

Terrible food. I don’t know why anyone eats there. The food is very bland. Reminds be of the food that is served at a nursing home. #tasteless

Terrible service and food. I got the chicken dumpling soup which was practically all grease. The broasted chicken was ok but the corn was just reheated frozen corn. Really terrible experience. Service was sparse, I had to track down the waiter several times to get a refill and she never came by to make sure the food was to our liking. I travel through the area consistently and now know where not to eat

Went to take my wife out for our 18^th wedding anniversary, thought we would try 2510 for the first time. We are dressed up nice and excited to try this restaurant. The restaurant was almost empty and around 8pm on a Saturday. We where sat quickly when we walked in, right next to the kitchen… Really??? With all the empty booths available??. Then we sat and waited and waited. No one came to offer drinks or anything. Finally we decided to walk. Was excited to try, but turned off by the extremely poor quality of service.

Last weekend I needed a meat tray prepared from the deli for a birthday party. I called once to place the order, and then called back to see if they could have it ready by 9AM Saturday morning. I was on hold for a while because they weren’t sure if they could have it ready that early, but finally came back and guaranteed that it would be ready for me. The timing was extremely important because I had several things I needed to pick up that day in preparation for the party. When I arrived to pick up the order, I knew something was wrong because the employee was searching for it for 10 minutes. She then came back and told me unapologetically that they didn’t make it yet. I ended up leaving without anything but a bad taste in my mouth. What a bummer.

Went here for brunch with some friends while we were traveling. The girl taking our order was attentive and made sure to get all of our things ordered promptly. No five stars because we did have to wait about 30 minutes for any food to be delivered and had to move where we were sitting due to being told by staff we were in the wrong area. The food was really good including the bloody marys (spicy!). I had the oatmeal that was supposed to come with fruit and bread but it did not show up. My husband had to ask a waitress to bring the rest of the food out.

Great place, good atmosphere, slow service… still waiting to get our food an 1 ½ later.

The place was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon. Despite how crowded it was, the service was right on. It was quick and attentive. I ordered a beer brat soup (amazing) because I assumed it was going to take forever to get our food. Definitely not the case. We had some of the chicken salad and the Reuben burger with ranch fries. The only reason I am giving this a four star is the ranch fries were very overdone. Even with that, the taste of the sauce was good. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if the company was as good as I had today.

Wow. And that’s an underwhelming «wow» just to be clear. First off, let me say that this place is attached to an awesome little bakery that it sooo doesn’t deserve the traffic from.
For a bowl of chili and a one person flat bread pizza — which was probably assembled from store bought BBQ sauce and packaged chicken meat — it took well over an hour. Aside from that our consistently absent minded server seemed to have forgotten about us in the «other» room as it appeared most of her patrons were seated in the adjacent dining area.
What is even stranger is that when you walk into the men’s room it is decked out with some rather chic wall and floor tiles, modern vanities and even a 40″ flat screen TV. For a minute I thought I was teleported to a swanky hotel bathroom in Vegas. Go fig. Too bad they didn’t spend the money on better food and servers instead.
This place does get one star for some very good cheese curds but hey, you’re in the heart of Wisconsin so if they had to get something right it better have been the curds.
To top it all off after our more than hour and a half ordeal, when we walked back through the bakery to the parking lot it took one of the nice girls from behind the bakery counter to notice us carrying two take-​out containers and cheerily asked if we would like a bag. Just for that courtesy alone it was worth patronizing them so I was able to at least salvage that horrible experience with a tasty peanut buttery treat.
If you find yourself in Wausau don’t bother with the restaurant; save your appetite or perhaps just satiate your sweet tooth with some of the wonderful pastries at the bakery instead.

From the time we placed 2 dinner orders, it took 70 minutes for our food to arrive. My medium prime rib was acceptable, but by the time I got the horseradish I requested, I only had 4 bites left. For the prices they charge, you would think that the would hire and train competent staff. The last 3 times I have been here, the overall experience was severely disappointing. The waitress (Ashley) came by the table once during that 70 minutes when she brought the French onion soup (which was dismal). The food and service used to be exceptional years ago, but I won’t return to spend another dime at 2510.

I have eaten at the 2510 a few times and I have had some decent meals and so not so good meals. I have been more impressed with the deli side of the business. I would go back again for lunch at the deli, but I have chosen other places for dinner.
I have to admit the main reason I had returned to the dinning side of the business is because they offered points on my dinning club account! (Not sure if they do this anymore)?

This was by far one of the most disappointing meals I have had in a while. We went here with friends and only ONE of the entrees of the four was worth the price.
I ordered prime rib because, hello, prime rib. I also splurged for the «sauteed mushrooms» on top. While the steak was tender there just wasn’t any flavor to it. The aus jus saved it. And the mushrooms were obviously from a can. CANNED mushrooms on a $ 22 piece of meat? And then to charge $ 2 for them? I could buy the can for less.
My wife ordered the tenderloin tips. The looked great but had no flavor. Another in our group ordered parmesan chicken. It was the most bizarre version of the meal that I’ve ever seen. It was shredded chicken mixed with a red cream sauce, red bell peppers and penne pasta.
The only item worth the money was the «Ultimate Ultimate» sandwich that our last group member got. It was also the only leftovers that were taken home.
The hostess and cashier were not that friendly but our waitress was very friendly and perky.

I was here the other day for a private birthday event for my grandpa who was turning 90. The restaurant promised us a private room with tables and chairs for our large party of 16. Andy was our waiter and he was super helpful throughout the dinner, taking our family pictures, orders and maintaining the three little kids that accompanied our party.
For appetizers, we ordered stuffed mushrooms (AMAZING) and chicken quesadillas. Very good for comfort food in the cold midwest night.
For my dinner I ordered the southwest shrimp with broccoli and requested no sauce on my broccoli. The dinner was pretty good, if I should say so myself! I also stole some fries from my dinner pals which were delightful. I love their sweet potatoe fries.
Overall, a good experience for me. Andy was able to handle our very large party and I am happy to say that I would recommend it to a friend looking for good old American food! By the way, they did a great job with the holiday décor!
Four stars!

Was looking for a breakfast spot in Wausau, someplace relatively close to my hotel… I wasn’t having a ton of luck on my Unilocal iPhone app — so i checked the website, and then checked this restaurant’s website. They’re open at 7am, so i figured they’d have breakfast.
When I arrived, i learned that breakfast is only served in their back Deli — — which is at the very back of the restaurant. A nice hostess walked me though the restaurant to the deli — — but for your reference, the Deli has a separate entrance at the back.
The breakfast in the deli works as following:
Place your order at the bakery counter
Pay at the counter
Seat yourself, and food will be delivered to you
To be entirely honest… I ordered the «Ultimate Breakfast Croissant». It wasn’t what i thought it would be… it was smothered with sauce, absolutely HUGE… and looked like an omelet. I think the sauce was the hollandaise eggs bene sauce — — which i didn’t care for. (Photo attached.)
The coffee was self-​serve… unlimited refills. Nice! I liked that.
And they also had a nice bakery case with a bunch of pastries, bars, some cookies, rolls… basically a bunch of sugary, gluttonous delights.
3*‘s for my experience — — but I do have to say that the service was extremely friendly though!

I have eaten here twice and had the harvest salad with salmon which I found to be very good. Greens were fresh, the Apple crisp and the salmon moist. The dressing was very sweet but with good favor. A good combination. I’ve had the regular size which is a big salad and the smaller size which is more than enough. Overall, I will stop again.
