Description

Specialties

Today, Vena offers a non-surgical alternative to traditional surgery called laser ablations. This is a 1-hour treatment performed in our clinic. You will be awake for your treatment and leave the clinic in little or no pain. You can return to work and normal activities the next day. You will be required to wear compression stockings for up to a week and your exercise regimen may be modified for a week or two at most. The number of treatments you will need will depend on the severity of your condition.

For those smaller veins (including spider veins) that are visible to the naked eye, sclerotherapy is performed. This treatment takes 30 minutes or less and a series of small injections are made directly into the veins. The number of sclerotherapy treatments needed will depend on how extensive the problem is.

Insurance will pay for treatment most of the time. Medicare & Medicaid welcomed.
