Yes, they have quite a selection in the types of craft materials and home décor. Their prices are average… some items are cheaper than other craft stores, other items are more expensive than Walmart. So I tend to shop around. I do find it weird that each item has to be keyed in by ID number — slow. It also means that they have to check the shelf to let you know if they have an item in stock(not available for them to just pull up on a computer). Staff is friendly though.

Pretty neat place, though i think the word«hobby» get’s lost as there isn’t as much selection with most hobby/crafting supplies. But i did find what i went there for and that was a big plus as i was expecting to order it online. They have some pretty awesome decorations there as well.

Terrible. The store is called Hobby Lobby so we thought that it would sell… hobby items? Nope. I engage in a variety of art hobbies, all of which Micheal’s carries and many of which Jo Ann’s carries, and none of which Hobby Lobby carries. Looking around, it seems they carry more decorative items for your home or outside your home like lawn flags and statues. No clay making items, no jewelry making items, no painting supplies. This is not the place to visit to either find a new hobby or get supplies for any of your hobbies. We left laughing about it and vowing never to return.

Finally made it to the store and was disappointed… Their scrapbooking section was seriously lacking. Very few stickers and embellishments. The tools and materials(such as embossing items) were sparse. Paper selection seemed pretty good, but the power went out just as I got to the aisle so I didnt get to look real thoroughly. Had a good ribbon and fake flower selection though. Fabric and buttons, not so much. A HUGE selection of Christmas items, like 6 aisles, which I found odd, considering it’s June. Overall eveything seemed to be less, especially compared to their West Bend store. Less selection of brands, less selection in each section, many things missing. I probably won’t go back yo this location nothing really excited me.

Not sure when the Grand Opening was… or is… but I had a coupon, so I stopped in to see if they had the yarn I needed. I kind of like all of the furniture they have at the front of the store before you enter and if I wasn’t planning on relocating in the near future, I probably would have been suckered into buying some of it! As I walked in, it was very much like every other Hobby Lobby I have been to, even had the new store smell! Seemed to be fairly busy. It didn’t look like there were signs for the aisles, so I kind of had to guess where the yarn was located. Some of the shelves and racks still look at bit bare, which is why I said that I wasn’t sure if they had the Grand Opening yet or not. The yarn section seemed a bit small compared to JoAnn Fabric and Michael’s and it seems to be all Hobby Lobby brand. Some of it looks just like other brands, and for some of their lines, they have quite the selection of colours, but for some of the lines, the selection is slim. They do seem to have a larger selection of crochet hooks, including Tunisian Crochet Hooks, which is nice since not many places sell them. I use the aluminum Boye hooks, which they do not carry, however, their store brand, Yarnology, seems to be the same make as the Boye hooks. I was also looking for some buttons, so I headed over to the fabric department. The buttons are in the back corner of the department and while some of the buttons are quite nice, they just have one stand of buttons. I could do with a nice haberdashery store with a large selection of unique buttons, but I settled on a variety pack of oversized buttons. There was a staff member hovering around customers and she seemed to be driving people away more than helping them. The lady who rang me up at the register was having a rant about how annoying the manager at the front was with his long status update over the walkie talkie. And apparently they do not have scanners, so they have to type in the cost of each item and what category it is. With as nice as their computer system looks, you would think they would have scanners to help make check out a bit quicker.
