My truck repairs exceeded my expectations! Steve Wilcox really took the time to explain things to me and answered all my questions. He made sure my truck was taken care of and the repairs were done perfectly! My truck was washed and vacuumed and looked brand new! Steve Wilcox at the Duplainville Rd was great! Stellar manager! Great customer service! Thank you for making a negative situation so positive and easy!

They told me it would take 4 days to fix my car. 9 days later and I’m still waiting… The back of my car was damaged – pretty much my bumper – and they «forgot» to order me a bumper for my car. They are unreliable and I had to call them in order to get updates. I was lucky I called the day I was supposed to pick it up originally because no one had called to inform me it would take an extra 5 days. So, NO I will NEVER be coming back here. They are kind, but unreliable there. Also, they don’t take cash or credit cards.

Very professional service, excellent workmanship, very good communication through the process. I recommend them to anyone.

Ok so while it took us a while to get there I am VERY HAPPY with our repair and paint and the shop did deliver on what they promised initially. Our experience is NOT TYPICAL.
After my first car burst into flames before my eyes due to an engine fire we bought a used 2013 Chevy volt in a beautiful Crystal Claret tintcoat (tricoat) that had everything we were looking for at a price that was within our budget. I must note that the gentleman who originally bought the car talked to us and mentioned that he paid extra for the shiny sparkly red paint and also said «Heaven help you if we ever have to have it painted because it’s a very difficult paint to match».
Fast forward two weeks into getting the car and my husband was crashed into (due to no fault of his own) by a young woman with NO INSURANCE. So we had the vehicle towed to Goff’s on Duplainville in Waukesha as they are one of the top recommended repair shops on our insurance companies list.
On the monday after the accident I called Goff’s to make sure 1) if they could repair a Chevy Volt and 2) if they could handle the difficult paint job, they assured me that yes they could handle the repair and the paint as they have been in business for nearly 50 years and have a very good reputation. We were told after the estimate that it should take approximately 2 – 3 weeks for the repair (which I thought was pretty fast considering the difficulty of both the car and paint) but I was very happy to think that my NEW car (which we had just gotten the registration paperwork on to take to the DMV had just arrived the day of the accident) would be back in my hands so soon. We also had several discussions with the estimator in regards to the paint process as we wanted ensure that it was handled correctly and had a few discussions with him as we told him that it was a tri-​coat (3 stage process) and he stated it was a 2 stage process, we had no fewer than 5 conversations, both my husband and I, in regards to this and we were assured by the estimator that if when the paint was ordered and applied if it was not correct his paint department would know and fix it prior to it getting back to us. So not wanting to be nagging helicopter parents we decided to let them do what they do best and hope that it was indeed right in the end.
We were assured also that we would be kept apprised of the progress of the repair and paint throughout the job which unfortunately was not the case. I had to call on the day it was supposed to be done (according to the preliminary estimate) only to find out that it would not be done yet but might be done the following week or so… my husband then recieved calls (not me mind you even though it was MY CAR) every few days saying it will be ready Monday… then on Monday, oh it will be ready wednesday… then again oh it will be ready Friday… this went on for weeks and honestly I felt like it was a cruel joke the shop kept playing on me as I had already had enough heartache for a lifetime in just the 5 weeks since the first incident of my previous car bursting into flames in front of my eyes. So needless to say at this point I was doubtful that I would ever recieve my car but I was hopeful that with it taking this long it would be fine with me as long as the car was back to it’s pre-​accident glory by the time I got it back.
When I finally did get it back it was no less than 6 weeks later and I was not happy as it was almost pitch black outside so I would not be able to see it in the daylight much less sunlight (which is where the metallic pearlscent color really shows) so I said I was not going to sign off on anything till I could see the car in the sunlight (which is difficult to find in Wisconsin winters). He assured me that the car and it’s paint job had a lifetime warranty and that we could bring it back at any time to have it fixed should we find something lacking or wrong in the areas that were affected by the repairs. While I noticed right away that the paint did not match I didn’t really want to get into it at the time as I just wanted my car back. Mechanically the car was great at this point.
We brought the car back a few weeks later after getting several opinions on the paint and then were told it had to do with «paint flop». I pointed out several spots of dimples in the paint which they said they could buff out. I also pointed out that the air dam was attached incorrectly to which the tech just kept stating it was the correct part, refusing to admit they had installed it backwards. I left very frustrated.
After a discussion with my insurance company we were told to bring it back to Goff’s and they would fix our concerns. The estimator marked off the areas of concern and told us he would take care of it. At this point I was not very confident, however when we got it back the second time the paint looked SPECTACULAR. I am very happy that even though it took two tries they did finally get the job done correctly.
