I can’t give 0 stars, but I would if it would let me. I went to Dr. Cantieri a few years ago but the scar on my leg reminds me often of the poor care I received. I had unexplained red splotches and bruises appearing all over my body. He barely spoke to me, just kind of looked at the spots silently. Offered no suggestions what it might be. He gave me a coupon for some cream up at the front desk and told me this would be expensive but the coupon might help, even though he didn’t know what was wrong with me and set up for a biopsy on my leg so they could run tests. I suffered through that(I hate needles and all things medical). I was scheduled to come back for the test results a week later, the whole time I was worried and praying it wasn’t cancer or some weird blood disease. He sat there and looked at the spots again, offered no suggestions, no diagnosis, barely remembered who I was or why I was there. He gets up and leaves the room — I had to follow him down the hall and ask«DO I HAVECANCERORSOMETHING?» He(and the front desk staff) looked startled and he just said«Oh no we didn’t find anything». I just shook — I never went back to him. I saw an internist who ran a lot of bloodwork and tests(though much less invasive than a biopsy) and didn’t come up with much more, other than this is probably some form of «hives» that I would break out with when I was under a lot of stress. Never going back to Dr. Cantieri again saves me some undue stress to prevent this. His bedside manner is nonexistent, he doesn’t care for patients, he doesn’t listen to patients… just terrible.
