The BIRCofWI Community Store features artistic creations made by brain injury survivors as well as donated items. BIRCofWI is an acronym for the organization that created the Community Store and the proceeds go directly towards the programs and services that the Brain Injury Resource Center of Wisconsin, Inc. offers to brain injury survivors in Wisconsin, in your community. The «Community Store» part of our name comes from being able to see a difference in your community. We are a 501© 3 tax-​exempt non-​profit organization and we are made up of volunteers.

Business Owner

Lois York-​Lewis and Bari York co-​founded the Brain Injury Resource Center of Wisconsin, Inc. in 2011. Four years later they realized they needed to serve their clients in another way by providing them a place to socialize, work and work on the skills it takes to be in the real world work environment. June 2014 the BIRCofWI Community Store was born and is located at 330 E. North St. Waukesha, WI 53 188.
