Great service. I called the store and the owner Kosta answered the phone, how can I help you. I told him the problem with the stove. He said come in with the model number, I’ve got the parts and I will tell you how to fix it. A few dollars later and 20 minutes of my time the stove was back in service. Highly recommend the store and the owner. Saved me money and time not having to wait for a repairman to service.

Simply the best! Kosta knew exactly what I needed for my washer without me going into detail! He explained how to properly install the part and was spot on with time needed to complete! I always come here whenever I need an appliance fixed! I highly recommend!

Overpriced parts. Ok if you are in a pinch, but you can find parts on-​line much cheaper. If you want real good customer service, I recommend Lucy’s Appliance in Zion.

Kostas is the guru of washers and dryers. Saved me a $ 150 service call with a $ 17 fuse. I have been using them for 20 years, saving hundreds of dollars. He has never steered me wrong in getting me the correct part and giving advice. An invaluable business. Glad to have them in the area.

I am an hvac contractor and was repairing a dryer for a client as a favor.
I traced the problem to a thermal fuse and had suspicions that wasn’t the whole story. Upon entering the store and telling them what I needed, I was told NOT to buy the other part I thought I might need but to just replace the gas coils. After he explained to me why this was needed I realized that he was exactly right. Many people are going on line and tinkering with things that they don’t know how they work. I had plenty of experience and he knew more than me and saved me trouble later when the problem could have reoccurred. Do it right the first time, get free advise, and let’s keep a valuable asset in business.
Total for three parts $ 55.16, getting it right the FIRST time, Priceless!

Fixed 2 appliances in my home in the past 10 years. First my furnace ignitor coil blew. I went to Petropoulos and they not only sold me the correct part but showed me how it was to be installed (no fingers can touch the coil). Later my oven ignitor blew… same procedure and results. Recently a friend used them and he had the same results. It’s time to give Petropoulos the credit they earned and deserve. They are a local business and family owned for many decades!
