Family dentistry for all ages. Dr. Neiburger does all the usual dental services: fillings, exams, cleanings, root canal treatments (including difficult molars), oral surgery (tooth extractions, biopsies, gum surgery), dentures and bridges, crowns, periodontal treatments, tooth whitening, TMJ therapy, orthodontics, bondings, denture repairs, etc. These are done in a minimal number of appointments by Dr. N. himself; no fly by night associates, assistants or strangers. When you come to Dr. N.‘s practice, you will always see Dr. N.

Dr. Neiburger practices «conservative minimal dentistry». If you do not need the treatment, you will not be forced to do it. Fillings and other restorations can often be inexpensively repaired. They do not always require an expensive crown. All costs are presented before the treatment is done. There are no unpleasant surprises in this office. Dr. N. believes your comfort, health and good looks are the most important part of dental treatment. We are usually open 11AM-​7PM MWF. All patients are welcome to call Dr.N. at his office or home anytime day or night. New patients are welcome. Dr. N. loves to treat little children.

History

Established in 1968.

Dr. Neiburger graduated University of Illinois School of Dentistry in 1968. He took post grad work in Oral Pathology (cancer) and Forensic Dentistry (Armed Forces institute of Pathology). His practice opened in Waukegan that year on Grand Avenue. He later moved to North Avenue in 1972 where he now practices.

Dr. Neiburger graduated the University of Illinois with a BS in Dentistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. N. has had advanced training in oral pathology, forensic dentistry, hypnosis and pain management. «Skip», as his friends call him, has served as a deputy coroner for Lake County and as curator of Anthropology at the Lake County Museum. He has worked in paleontology and paleoanthropology at the Field Museum, Smithsonian Institution and numerous museums over seas. Dr. Neiburger has written numerous scholarly articles on dentistry and the above specialities. He has written 7 books on dentistry, lectured worldwide and published numerous articles on dental techniques and research.
