History

Established in 2007.

Green Machine Customs started out in a basement shop with some simple hand tools. All parts were designed and made by Nathan Green. Eventually, there wasn’t enough room for parts and the demand for parts could no longer be met with just hand tools.

GMC moved to a full shop space in Wauconda in 2009. At that time a full size mill and lathe were added to the tools. Specialized tools were created, full size ovens for powder coating bike frames were added. Even a small staff was hired.

GMC continues to grow with customer needs. Aftermarket parts are offered from some of the best vendors in the business. Customer service continues to be a top priority. You will never feel like we don’t have the time for you.

I’ve been into motorcycle for about 10 years. Ever since my friend tossed me the keys to his 919 I haven’t looked back to cars or trucks. I prefer the beauty of a raw naked bike compared to the smooth lines of faired bikes. I started with a Yamaha FZR 600 as my first street bike and learned a lot about customizing. Since then I’ve stuck with Yamaha’s as I know my way around them quite well. Currently planning a switch to a Triumph motor so we’ll what shakes out. I’m not into stunting but my hats off to the guys that do it legally and safely. I prefer to carve mountain roads and take note of all the things I miss while I’m in a car.
