First National Bank of Wauchula

Seriously, don’t waste your time!!! They take FOREEEEEVER to process anything. My payroll direct deposit posted 3 days late with them sometimes. Everyone getting their deposits at other banks were getting it on Friday. Several times I got mine on Monday, and once, I even got it on a Tuesday! This is not cool when you have bills scheduled to come out of your checking account on payday. The customer service is pretty bleh, and they’re really draconian in how they handle their accounts. I had an overdraft caused by my insurance company continuing to draft my payment from my FNB Wauchula account when I had already made arrangements to have it start coming out of another account. The bank sent me a notice telling me to clear it up within 30 days, or my account would be closed. They closed it TWENTY-​TWO (22) days early while I was waiting for the insurance company to reimburse the overdrafts, which they had already agreed to do. (I have the date it was supposed to close IN WRITING FROM THE BANK, by the way). The bank closed my account over 3 weeks early, even though they had been advised of the situation and said it was fine. What can I say? Good riddance. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, by the way. I’m awaiting a response.
