Hey Home Depot!
What with the dogs! I’m shopping with my young son. we come around the corner and some costumer with a pit bull practically knocks us down. If your so concern about safety what are you going to do when some gets bit? Or a dog fight breaks out between two dogs and someone get bit trying to break it up? Or what if a service dog get attacked by by someones untrained dog. Are you running a business or a dog park/​
Not shopping with my kids there anymore.

Never never ever going to come to watsonville home Depot again. I rather drive to Santa cruz or over the hill, I had to talk to 5 DIFFERENT people to get them just to CALL someone. Not to mention the fact that a group of more than 7 employees walk passed me and said they would «call someone» to still have to go and find someone myself. This place is a joke and lost any chance of my business

Visited last night for 4 items on our home improvement list. Got there around 9pm and nobody greeted us. All throughout the store, only 1 employee greeted me. He was in the back, near the washers & dryers. At the checkout, Silvia, was wearing a tag that said VOC was zero. I remember what VOC is because my BF’s sister used to work there. Corporate wants the employees to get people to «rate them» so they can get all 10’s. Or else they are fired! Bf’s sister was fired because of that too, among other reasons that are plain stupid.
Silvia was a friendly cashier, young and unsuspecting. She didn’t see anything wrong with wearing a tag that said zero. Well, I do! As a manager, it’s important to boost your team morale, not shame them! The beatings will continue until morale improves. What a bunch of corporate bullshit.
The items at the store are same as you can get elsewhere at other hardware stores. Customer service sucks for the most part. I met Silvia last night who helped us with what we were looking for. She wasn’t the most informed about the different types of light bulbs and adapters but. she called someone to ask. That’s a hell of a lot more than some employees do. I give her a thumbs up.

I needed some molding trim help and Leo was really helpful trying to find me the exact piece i needed. Daisy at the checkout was super friendly, nice, amazing, funny, cool. October 10^th is Barefoot Awareness Day #SoulsForSoles

I want to take a minute to thank Mrs Lorreta store manager for the Home Depot in Watsonville California. Today I went in to purchase a freezer for my daughters school at landmark elementary. when Mrs Loreta found out that the freezer was being purchased for a school she and the Home Depot gave us an incredible deal on a freezer for the after school program. On behalf of all the children at landmark elementary thank you Mrs Loreta and the Home Depot.

I found the employees here very helpful and friendly, especially Joshua in hardware dept! I called on the phone before I came down to make sure they had my item in stock. He looked in every department until he found it. Then he measured it with me on the phone to make sure it fit in my vehicle. Very patient too. Also while he was doing that he didn’t even put me on hold! He was very professional and friendly. I happen to run into him at the store and he was very helpful in person too. I hope the managers here know what a great employee he is and how lucky they are to have him. Rare to find good help like this sadly these days. Thanks again Joshua!

OK, I placed a special order a week ago – but somebody forgot to process the order. How difficult is that to do with an electronic system? Such poor service. I’m going in to see the manager. Bypass this one and head to Gilroy or Salinas.

The service is terrible. We went to get help and rudely got «what do you need?» answer. Before that we waited for 10+ minutes and numerous coworkers looking for people looking for the right person to get our help. If you don’t like working in the customer service field, then find another job.

I spoke with the floor manager this morning to make sure the grout I needed for a project I was doing was available at their store. He said they had 3 gallons of it and that’s exactly what I needed for my project. Well, that’s what I saw on their website inventory so I told him to please put them on hold for me while I drive there from Scotts Valley (~45min drive one way). Well, when I drove there he only put aside 1 gal. and when I questioned cashier she basically told me that’s all they had! I wasted so much time and gas because some lazy a$$ floor manager who couldn’t walk down the aisle to check if they had the inventory! I will NOT spend a dime here! Poor customer service!!!

Home Depot is a great place full of friendly people helping you out. I went to get some paint but not sure what kind I needed. The lady helped me and got the paint exactly what I needed. Love it.

We called a couple times to verify that this Home Depot had specific items in stock. Gave them UPC numbers and item numbers as requested. Was left on hold for over 15 minutes both times. Both phone calls did not yield any results as never came back to pick up the line. The call cycled back into the queue each time. Usually the lack of customer service is compensated for the consumer by having competitive pricing. I understand these basic economics. However Home Depot does not have competitive prices not customer service.

A little below average for a Home Depot — the occasional sexist worker who treats me differently since I am female, the occasional awesome worker who knows exactly what I’m looking for and where to find it.
Recently I had some issues with a lockset that was supposed to be rekeyed but ended up not working. Had to take it back. Also, there’s one creepy worked on the self-​checkout who hovers right behind people, reads the display out to them over their shoulders, and is just unnecessarily close during the transaction (peeping card PINs perchance?). Seriously, if I’m at the SELF checkout, leave me the hell alone unless I ask you for help.

I have had the nicest experiences lately. This past year I’ve been buying more items. The customer service on the phone and in the store have been just terrific. They helped us find the perfect shower door and ordered it for our odd shape and personal style. Then they called to ensure that it all worked out well. I am really impressed. I remembered not such great support back 7 years ago, but things appeared to have changed. Love this news.

I didn’t receive the service I expected. I asked a staff member if they were going to still have an item in about 2 – 4 weeks, he said they should. I went back after 2 – 3 weeks and they didn’t have the item any more. A lady was helping me the second time I went but she didn’t seem to want to help me much. They could have asked if I wanted them to check at a different HD.
I DID find what I was looking for at the next closest HD.

I’ve shopped at Lowes and Home Depots all over the country and the staff in the Watsonville, California store is, by far, the most knowledgeable, helpful and friendly crew I’ve ever experienced. Like any store, they are sometimes out of the item I’m seeking, but what else is new?

Look everybody, it’s Home Depot. You know what you’re getting when you hit the parking lot. It’s a giant warehouse store. I prefer Orchard and Ace (where I’m a weekly customer) but for some things, it’s HD or go out of town.
I’ve visited other HDs in the area (Salinas, Marina, Gilroy), and this one distinguishes itself for its staff. We’ve never paid a visit and not had people approach us to ask if we needed help. We’ve never had the interminable lines found in the Gilroy store, or the spectacularly clueless staff in Salinas. These people may work for a big box store, but they actually seem to care about their jobs and customers.

I’ve heard several things about the retail giant, and I would say my experience is consistent with what I’ve heard. Being unexperienced in the housing/​fix it arena, the store is large and most of the time you can not find someone to help you. Once you find someone to help you, most of the time it is not their department, so they have to find someone else to help you. I give this place three stars for the guy in the appliances department who took the time to explain everything and help me buy my refrigerator. Average prices.

The Home Despot, bastion of nationwide homogeneity. Giant, cavernous, high aisles palace of some very useful things. Interspersed with things you believe you need through some subliminal influence while you are there — but then you take home and never take out of the package.
Go to Orchard Supply Hardware down the road on the other side of Main Street and support a local chain instead.. .
