Established in 2001.

Hello & thanks for your interest. In 2001 we were thinking about how to use extra storage space at our Watsonville location. After doing research, we realized there was a need for box storage in the Watsonville, Salinas, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Gilroy & the surrounding areas. Our box storage business is now established & growing steadily.

From the day one, everybody was asking about document shredding. We immediately invested in a full line of shredding equipment. We converted one of our other warehouses into a shredding haven for weary consumers who wanted to un-​burden themselves of sensitive documents. This warehouse has a monster shredder that gobbles up documents in seconds. Our customers enjoy the added bonus of being able to watch the entire process. Also, we now have an onsite shredding truck that will come to you. We cover Watsonville, Santa Cruz, Salinas, Monterey, Gilroy and all surrounding areas.

We’ve owned a successful roofing company for over 39 years. The key to our success has primarily been two things: Customer service and pricing. When it comes to customer service, we always try and bend over backwards for our valued Stordok friends. From the first phone call, to the final result — our customer’s experience can be compared to a nice walk in the park.

We’ve incorporated our knowledge and experience into this new venture and business was booming right from the start. There’s an old adage that says «Out of sight, out of mind». That’s how our customers feel as they watch their documents disappear before their eyes. It’s very satisfying to watch an 86 year old elderly customer smile as our monster shredder obliterates old documents they’ve had in their garage for years.

So that’s how we roll here at Stordok. It’s not very complicated. We treat our customers in a special way and give them service with a smile.
