The shipping costs are eating up my small business budget. I paid $ 50 for GROUND SHIPPING to Texas for $ 130 worth of product. I can’t continue to buy from them at those prices. Also, some of my bottle tops don’t operate and some of my jar tops were so scraped that I couldn’t use them to sell my product. If anyone has any alternative company ideas, I am all eyes and ears.

I appreciate you responding to my review of your company. I have ordered from companies as far north as Maine with heavier product and didn’t have to pay $ 50 in shipping. As a business, I understand that is an area that can be tricky. You can pass some savings on to your customers to retain them, or… not. I have purchased from you as many times as I have because in spite of some product flaws here and there and the high cost of shipping, I actually like what you offer compared to others. However, just starting out, I can’t continue to have you as my main supplier for my container needs. Which makes me cautious, because as I grow I will need more of your product and the shipping cost will continue to grow. When my next shipment arrives, I will be certain to check my product to make sure everything is working properly, and if not… will consult with your customer service team to get it resolved. I have ordered from this company a few times. They have great prices, and fast shipping. One order in particular I order an item and I didn’t like it when I got it. Heather C responded to me and resolved the issue quickly and I was very pleased with how she handled it. Since then I placed another order.

Terrible customer service. Yes, they ship fast. Yes their prices are great. But time and time again I am experiencing really bad service from them. Almost every time bottles arrive broken. Every order shipped they charge me sales tax when I should not be charged sales tax. And forget about getting anyone on the phone. their phones don’t work so you have to send an email and wait for a customer service person to get back to you. this is the busiest time of year for me and I don’t have time for their lackluster customer service. Every single order I have placed with them there has been a problem with. I am now looking elsewhere for my bottle and packaging needs, I can’t be chasing after their mistakes.

After reading these reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with SKS! I was looking for mini liquor bottles for a party. I sent an inquiry through their web site to make sure what I wanted was in stock and I could get it within two weeks, and they responded almost immediately. I put my order in Wednesday and received it Friday. Very fast, GREAT prices, would order again.
Not sure if this is new since the previous bad reviews were posted, but the shipping confirmation I received in my email detailed exactly what would be in the package and what would be back-​ordered. It was all very clear what I would be receiving.

Products are fine, but I’m disappointed with the lack of customer service with SKS. There is no communication for when something goes wrong. When my payment didn’t go through they just let the order sit in limbo without letting me know it wasn’t being processed. This could have been fixed immediately if they had called or emailed. Instead, I was left waiting for parcels that hadn’t been shipped. Since this happened twice, as well as back orders I wasn’t informed about, I can’t trust SKS when I’m in need of anything quickly. It’s a shame since they shop quickly and have had great service in the past.

This company is not honest. They knowingly do not show items on backorder on their site or when you place an order. I recently place an order for some jars showing available on their site, checked out aka paved the order. They placed a hold on my charge for the jars for the amount. I get an email the next day saying your product is on backorder and won’t be shipped until June. Upon calling the company the representative days of yeah those have been on backorder a while and we don’t update our site with that information nor do we tell you at checkout. Upon asking why did they hold the monies knowing it was on backorder, I got the standard response that is how our site works??? I then ask is there something similar you can give me at the same price point, short answer no. Found similar product for more, they were not willing to give a discount, 20% to match. So you knowingly deceive customers and take their monies when products are not available. Nice..

I have been using SKS for a while and am very happy with the service and the prices. They are always prompt and answered a question by e– mail very quickly. I am a small business owner, so I really appreciate the reasonable prices and prompt delivery.

Placed my order for 100 containers yesterday and it’s shipping today. Lowest prices I’ve seen for what I am looking for — including the shipping charge. They have my vote.
Only used once, but I will change the review to 5 stars if the service continues to be great. Thanks.

Ordered some containers that never came in the mail. Tried to contact them by email and by phone on 3 separate occasions and never got a response. Terrible customer service…

I’m very disappointed with my experience with SKS. Their customer service (or lack there of) is questionable and I’m surprised they’ve been in business this long. I placed an order for client Christmas gifts weeks ago. After waiting without any word on the product I finally called. The rude and careless lady I talked to informed me it was on back order until mid December (over a month from original order date). A little notification of the status of my order along with an apology for their lack of communication would have been nice so I could make other arrangements. Unfortunately, I received neither.

I have been ordering from this company for years. Within the past year this company has taken a major turn for the worse. I have been trying to contact them for days to get the rest of my order (which was backordered without any notification to me) and shipped out in such a sluggish manner it took 3 weeks to get here… It is impossible to get anyone on the phone or to get a straight answer via email with their Sales Rep. Rick. It has been an absolute nightmare ordering from them and has put my company in a very bad spot because of their absolute negligence and terrible customer service.
If there were a negative star rating I would absolutely score them accordingly.
I will be finding another company to buy my products from and will never recommend this company to anyone.

After looking at some of the bad reviews — I felt I had to write this because they paint an unfair picture of SKS. I’ve used this company since 2006 in both my businesses. They have great products and great pricing. They also have great options for small businesses that can’t afford to buy huge quantities. I admit we are lucky because our business is local to SKS — so we get our shipments the next day no matter what, as long as it leaves their facility by 7pm.
I will admit that their processing times for shipments have gotten a bit longer, but that’s because they are growing and servicing more customers. Their processing runs anywhere from (1 to 4) days — depending on the order and how busy they are at the time. That’s pretty much the norm with their competitors as well.
For us, their customer service has been excellent and I’m surprised at any bad reviews saying otherwise. I have used many other companies and some are good, but none are better than SKS in my opinion. Their sales staff has always been excellent and the guy we deal with now is awesome. Even though we are a small customer, he treats us like we’re «Johnson & Johnson».
That being said, I do have a few suggestions for SKS:
1: Show out of stock items on your website so buyers are not surprised and disappointed.
2: Immediately let the customer know an item is on backorder and give them the option of waiting or a refund. And never hold up a shipment of multiple items because one is on backorder. Of course this problem would be solved just by showing out of stock items on the website.
3: Show tracking numbers in the buyer’s order history when they log in. They send an email and that’s great, but busy business owners tend to delete excess emails and it’s just easier to be able to go back check on a shipment.
Otherwise — SKS is awesome and we will continue to do business with them even when we become as big as «Johnson & Johnson». I’m happy to give them 5 stars and they’ve really provided a service that has helped our natural health & beauty business, «Greensations» to grow immensely.

they have a nice free shipping policy if you order more than $ 250
their prices are higher than container and packaging and sunburst bottle but the free shipping makes it about the same.
but they have definitely declined from shipping items within a few days to a few weeks.
hopefully they will get back on track

These guys need to work on their inventory management system. I placed an order and didn’t hear anything for the first 5 days. Finally called in and they said «it will ship tomorrow». Well, it didn’t ship and so I tried to call back multiple times with no answer. Finally got a rep on their chat system who looked into it further and said they wouldn’t be getting more of those bottles for another month! Needless to say I cancelled my order and found another supplier.

They used to be so good shipping orders on time, we have been with them for years and this is why we move from another company to SKS. however for months now, service has declined, they themselves can’t even follow their own Shipping Policy, stating on Order Confirmation, orders are ship within 1 – 2 days Mon-​Fri excluding holidays. It would be 5 – 7 days before you can get a shipping notification from them, that is not 1 – 2 days! We’re thinking of switching back to our old vendor if not for their convenient location.
Update: shipping is much much better now, also I tend to order at least a week in advance.

I live in WA and use this company regularly for my container needs for my small business. I feel their prices are fair for limited quantities and the free shipping over $ 250 is nice. I’m terrible with sizing, and I love dimensions in both mm and in. UPS was late, but that wasn’t SKS’ fault in the least. All in all, I’ve used them a few times for my needs and just wish they were closer!

I use this company regularly and love them. I wait until I need $ 250 worth of stuff so I take advantage of the free shipping. I order small amounts of new items first to make sure they will work. One order I received what I would call a defective item, months later, when I got around to trying to use it, they still offered to refund me, but also offered a suggestion to make the product work. And it worked, so no need to return!
Never had a problem with out of stock items and never had a problem with customer service. Maybe I’m just fortunate, but I highly recommend SKS.

Out of more than a dozen different orders I placed through them so far (to the same address), they shipped one of my order to an address that I lived about 4 years ago. Even though I tried to explain them I have no idea how it happened, they kept on saying it was my fault. Waiting for more than a month for my shipment, I haven’t received a single call from their customer representative regarding the situation. All I have received is a single e-​mail saying I need to pay $ 45 more if I want it to be re-​shipped. Hey! What if I didn’t see this e-​mail and forget about the purchase that I made? You keep my $$$ until I find out I never received the products from you? You are charging me for something that I never received, not giving me a single phone call in order to resolve the issue, and refuse to issue a refund unless I pay an extra $ 45? That is absolutely ridiculous. I will probably keep using them for my future needs until I find a better alternative, but will definitely not recommend them to anyone.
You need to improve relationship skills with your customers SKS. Stop trying to oversmart them with all these penalty-​kind extra shipping charges. Instead, try being cooperative with them.

I read the reviews after I first contacted SKS and despite the criticisms I went ahead and ordered from them. Based on a really helpful customer service guy who I spoke to on the phone, I just had a feeling they’d be good. And they were. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience: customer service was friendly and helpful, I was quickly sent samples, and after placing an order on a Wednesday, I received the 2 cases of bottles (UPS) on the following Monday. Bottles as ordered! I am very pleased with SKS and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

I made an order through SKS and inventory was showing in stock. I didn’t receive an email when I made the order or anything saying it was back ordered. Later the NEXT week I eat an email stating the item is back ordered and there is nothing they could do for me. This resulted in late delivery for my client and I’m pretty much shit out of luck since they would not do what it takes to keep me as a client. I should have read the reviews on Unilocal before making the order. Emails were left open and no solutions were made at all. Even thought I kept pushing for a solution.
Worst company to deal with.
