Chemical turf, tree & shrub care. :

Fertilization Applications (granular) & Weed Control (liquid): Our common program is a 5-​step application process; however, you may modify your services to fit your needs. — Grub Control: Season long protection from grubs, the product is applied in July through August as a preventative measure. Note: Grub control does not target moles. — Turf Surface Feeding Insect Control targets a wide variety of insects; from fleas and ants to chinch bugs and billbugs. — Disease & Fungus Control: Leaf spot to red thread. We can also keep our eyes on the weather and schedule you for preventative fungicides if your lawn is susceptible to disease activity.

History

Established in 1992.

Grounds Services, Inc. has been servicing Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for 20 years. We started out by mowing lawns, laying mulch and even digging holes to build a strong ethical, honest foundation for G.S.I. The work was not always easy but was rewarded with loyal customers who would refer their friends and family.

In time, Grounds Services focused on lawn fertilization, moved away from the mowing, mulching and digging. Within the past few years, we have added chemical tree and shrub care to our services, presenting our customers and clients with a variety of answers for their lawn care problems.

Grounds Services, Inc. was started in the 1990’s. I had prior experience in the lawn care business, though I believed that there was a way to be more efficient and provide a higher level of service for the customer. We began with mowing and mulching services before moving into turf, tree & shrub management services (such as fertilization options, weed control, disease control, insect control, etc.).

I believe it’s more than just a business. It’s about a relationship between me and my employees and our relationship with the customer. I believe in creating a work environment which benefits my employees, the customer and the community as a whole. We try to donate and give back as much as we can.

We know there are many choices out there and are always honored and humbled when people choose our shop for their landscaped needs.
