Sweet Talkin Treats

We ordered a wedding cake from Sweet Talkin’ Treats and it was amazing. We had two different flavors: triple chocolate and lemon with raspberry filling. The guests loved it and our caterers commented on how this was the best-​cutting cake they’ve worked with in their 20+ years in the business– apparently you can tell the quality of a cake by how it cuts. I would definitely recommend their cakes.
My one criticism is communication. We were a bit nervous when we decided to go with them and they didn’t have us fill out a contract. They simply jotted down notes on a piece of paper. In general they seemed very unprepared for the tasting, which took multiple calls and unanswered emails to schedule. Once we got closer to the wedding day, we tried several times to contact them to confirm the order details but we never got anyone over the phone or via email. We finally heard from them 36 hours before the ceremony, but that was after we spent a few hours scrambling to find a back-​up cake/​dessert buffet option.
Overall, the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing but they do need to work more on the business end of things. And I would recommend just going in the store to deal with them instead of trying to get someone by phone.

Love, Love the the cupcakes, cakes and pastries. When I need a great tasting cupcake this the place to go. Not really sweet but flavorful. With all the different flavors you are sure to find few you can not live without. We only have two places in town where most people buy their goodies from-​this is one!
Prices good. Hey, they have to pay the rent too!

This is a first class bakery, opened earlier this year in a challenging location. We had them make a relatively simple cake for my son’s graduation. The cake itself (chocolate sheet) was delicious and so moist and rich it could be confused for a brownie. Nothing real fancy about the decorations, but again, they were exquisitely done. These are folks who really put their all into their product and you can taste it in the end result.

Delicious! Ordered the the salted caramel latte cake for a weekend cookout\birthday party. Everybody loved it and wanted to take a slice home.
This is now my go-​to bakery.

My wedding cake was amazing. It looked exactly like we talked about and the flavor was great! I got a lot of compliments on how light but dense (true) the lemon cake was. The butter cream frosting was so delicate! My uncle who is a self proclaimed bakery connoisseur loved it!
