The Alexander Technique teaches you how to use your back, your knees, your arms – and your body as a whole! – in the natural and optimal way.
For over a century, this holistic approach to health and wellness has helped people:
* alleviate back and neck pain, tension, and fatigue
* relieve voice, breathing, sleep, and digestive disorders
* improve posture, balance, and coordination
* elevate performance in sports, music, dance, and theater
* increase overall well-being and enjoyment of life!
I offer practical, one-to-one lessons in the technique. I teach its concepts by using demonstration, verbal directions, and touch. I use my hands to guide my student toward a better organization of his/her body. Then I assist him/her in performing simple movements in a way that respects this healthful relationship between the head, the spine, the feet, and the rest of the body. These various movements enable him/her to develop the skills to more easily and efficiently perform any activity in life

Business Owner
I trained at the Alexander Technique Training Center in Newton, MA, with Ruth Kilroy and Rivka Cohen, an AmSAT-approved teacher training program.
I’m friendly, patient, and perceptive. I care that my students deepen their understanding of the technique with every lesson and become steadily more adept at applying it in their everyday lives.
I carefully customize each lesson for each individual student. I plan movements that will challenge him/her and increase his/her facility with the technique. I continually adapt my instruction to meet his/her needs and answer his/her questions as they arise. Finally, I offer recommendations on specific things to work on until the next lesson.
My teaching is informed by my 1,600 hours of rigorous training, as well as by my personal experience with injuries and tension. I love that I can use innumerable insights gleaned from overcoming my own maladies to help my students restore their well-being and pursue their passions!
