Toys R Us

Although a little pricey, this toys r us is clean, clearly labeled based on age/​weight/​activity level, and has good clearance items! They also have one of the best board game selections of any store that I have seen! If you’re in a rush, they have options for gift wrap, etc, but I don’t think it’s worth it. At this particular location, you are better off going down the strip to the Dollar Tree and getting your wrapping supplies. This place is always packed so they must be doing something right!

This is not the biggest Toy r Us and Babies r Us… but who wants to be overwhelmed with too much stuff? This store is just right. To save time I suggest checking if they have item in stock online. Staff is helpful but you have to seek them out. I love that all babies r us have a changing room for your baby. This one is very clean! I love shopping here for toys and baby gear. Once and while I will get lucky and find clothes for my kids. The sizes seem to go quick. Worth a try if shopping for birthday or baby shower.

The last time I was near this Toys R Us I whizzed by at 55mph and thought «Oh hey look at that!» and proceeded to go home. This time out I was on the right side of the highway so I swung into the strip mall where this TRU is located and decided to check it out. I’ve been on a hunt for new toys to add to my collection lately and thought this might be worth a shot.
Heading in, you get a sense of déjà vu if you’ve visited other Toys R Us stores. Its laid out in a very similar way, with girl’s toys and action figures located on the right side, a big section in the middle for the «big promo» item of the month (currently Iron Man 3) and more of the «Babies R Us» oriented stuff on the left side of the store. The registers are all up near the front of the store. Video games are towards the back.
Sadly, I did not find any new items here though I could tell they had recently restocked and made a valiant effort to keep the shelves neat (a losing battle really against the hordes of parents and kids who invade daily).
One thing that I found interesting is the square footage of this TRU is probably the smallest out of all those in the area, and thus everything felt a bit smaller in terms of aisle space and shelf space (but that could have been more psychological than a statement of actual measured fact so take this with a grain of salt).
Overall, a pleasant if unremarkable visit.

Very unpleasant Toys R Us. Staff were too busy speaking with each other rather assisting customers. The check out lady was disinterested in her job as she didn’t even crack a smile. The place was a bit dirty and seemed tighter than other locations I have been to. Also seemed like it hadn’t been renovated in a long time… only go to this location if you absolutely have to…

To this day I am unsure of how Toys R Us stores are organized. This is not to say that they are not organized, as they are in the sense that everything is in its place and the store is very tidy, but the products seem to be avant garde-​ly placed around the store (the kid version of avant garde, because that’s a thing). Boardgames are in the same area, books are in the same area, etc., etc., but most things are just randomly located throughout the store.
I remember how the franchised used to organize its stores: walk in, cashiers to the left against the windows, video game center to the far right, bikes in the back, everything else falling into place, a puzzle my childhood mind new how to fit together.
Maybe the organization of Toys R Us stores doesn’t make sense to me because I’m not a kid anymore. But I still love this store, and I still love Toys R Us.
Regardless of how things are organized, this Toys R Us store has got it all. The store is super clean and never too crowded. It’s just a great, kid-​friendly environment.
It smells and feels like childhood.

Love this location. It is never crowded and they always have what you need. There are quite a few stores near by so you can get a lot of shopping done in one place.
