I had not begin to Paisano’s in a long time so when I went today because out was convenient I remembered why I had not returned. The workers there look consistently miserable and have no sense of customer service whatsoever. The woman I believe is the owner is clearly approachable. When I went to sit at one of 2 bar type tables I found one covered with crumbs and garbage and the other with a cracked cell phone. I put my tray down and took the phone to the cashier and was informed by a grungy employee«i’m sitting there“which he did too play with his cell and watch tv. We found booth with a ripped seat and spattered walls, also chunks of wood missing from floor. Pizza was not bad. Last time there we had dinner and when the check came I questioned the total and was informed that the prices went up and was shown the fine print on the menu and was told they can do what ever they want. The prior owners had created a beautiful little restaurant and these owners made a mess of it. Won’t be going back and have heard similar complaints from others.

We frequently shop in this shopping center, Home Depot, Target & Wal Mart along with other spots. I love pizza and could eat it everyday so getting a slice or 2 when in the area is always a thought. Almost every time I have been to this place some employee has an attitude. Well it’s not a good thing considering the pizza is above average most of the time. Besides the high price paid the staff needs coaching on their customer skills. I don’t go to Paisanos anymore even if I’m starving.

I have no complaints a okayy this pizzeria, I’ll come here maybe once a month or so to get pizza and that’s all I’ve tried from there so I can’t speak on their other food. I’ve tried their buffalo chicken, pepperoni and sausage and it’s DELICIOUS. I’ve never had a problem with their customer service, but then again I always take my food to go. overall, I love their pizza.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used to go here all the time because they are near my job. But their customer service is HORRIBLE!!! When I asked to speak to a manager about how rude the girl was when I was placing an order all the manager had to say was«okay well how can I help you?» And«what do you want me to do about it?» Their food is not good enough for me to order from there ever again. I would much rather go to any other pizza place in the area.

I like their different choices in pizza and entrées, waiters are alright. Soups are good too! A little pricey but nice for a lunch out.

Ok i’m a regular at Paisanos. I go there maybe twice a month and the experience is almost always positive. No, it’s not a fancy place, but the pizza is good and some of the pasta dishes are decent. Service has always been pretty good as well, but a couple of days ago, i had the worse experience there to date. I’ll describe: Walked in my wife on a Sunday, and proceeded to sit down on a booth. A server(first time i see him there) with dreadlocks comes over after 3 minutes or so, and gives us menus without saying a word; no Hello, no Hi, nothing. Just hands over the menus and walks away without even asking if we wanted a drink. Anyway, comes back a few minutes later and stands by the table with a notepad waiting for us to tell him what we want. Again not a word. I turned to him and tell him«I guess we want to drink something» and i ordered some beverages, then ordered a pepperoni pizza. Walks away again, not a word. Pizza comes, and this thing is loaded with pepperoni. Now maybe you think that is good, but it’s not. Too much pepperoni means a pizza swimming in a puddle of grease. Anyway, we eat it, as that same waiter is watching the football game and yelling at the TV. Comes back and drops the check off, then comes back takes my credit card and brings the receipt; no Thank You, no Thanks for Coming, nothing. The only words he uttered was cursing at the TV about the football game. I guess people are not exactly fighting each other to work at a pizzeria, but come on Paisano’s, is that the best you can do? Some of the young kids you have do a much better job than this thug who obviously has no concept of customer service.

We went at 8:30 to the restaurant and were told that it was closed. The chairs were on the table and they were mopping the floor. When we pointed out that the sign said 9pm and we had even called before going they said that the just closed earlier and that was that.

I came here for lunch with my coworker, since it was close to where we were working. This pizzaria was pretty busy since it’s the only eatery localed inside the Watchung Mall. The pizzaria itself is pretty average, nothing too fancy. The staff here were very nice and very quick. They had a pretty good deal, two plain slices and a fountain soda for five dollars, but I almost never get plain slices; to me plain slices are just meh. So I got a margarita slice and a chicken gorgonzola slice. The margarita slice was your standard margarita slice, but I really liked the chicken gorgonzola slice, I never had gorgonzola on pizza before, but ot works. Since, this place is super convenient, I’ll probably come back here again if I’m in the area.

I only come here for lunch slices. The pizza slices are good, perhaps a little pricey. If you get anything other than a plain your slice will cost at least $ 2.75−3.50/piece and come on who only gets 1 slice at a time! It’s definitely a spot to consider while shopping around the mall and you’re starving.

Since I wrote my previous review, we have been back several times. One time that stands out was when they got our order wrong for pizza. An innocent mistake but they went out of their way to fix the problem. We got two free slices of the pizza we didn’t order! Their customer service is definitely friendlier nowadays. Also we tried their pasta for the first time — very good. Pizza is still a bit greasy though that is a matter of personal preference.

I can see why this place gets mixed reviews. When I come in to eat there or pick up an order, the staff is less than cordial. Often they prefer to keep their conversations going than help out a customer. But when I order food to be delivered, their delivery guys are always, always nice, prompt and even friendly! As for the food, it’s a hit or miss. Their pizza is always good, but then again, how can you screw up pizza? Their entrees, on the other hand, can get bizarre at times. One day their chicken francese will be excellent, but the next day it’s overcooked, flavorless and downright disgusting. Same goes for their chicken marsala. I gave them four stars because they are conveniently located, their prices are somewhat reasonable(if you think they are expensive, just keep in mind, they do give you big servings), their online ordering is a godsend, and when the food is good, it is really good!

Pepperoni pizza is greasy. My son did not even finish his plain pizza. But my real grievance is the lazy lady behind the cashier. It was Friday, Nov. 8 around 3pm after school, I drove my kids here for a quick snack. Yes, pizza falls under the category of «snacks» in our Filipino Family. She gives us soda cups holding it, not by the body, but with her fingers inside the cup. Ok, let me let it pass. It’s the same hands that hold cash and punch those buttons. A bit of bacteria cannot hurt. Then as I pick my paper cup up, it fell back right into the sink with it’s brim touching the sink where everybody washes their dirty hands so I requested to have it changed but she refused. So I said, forget the soda. She needs better training, Paisano.

My mother my sister and I were stuck with this place, or so we thought, since we didn’t have a car to go somewhere more known and this was the only place in the square mall. The truth was that the food was delicious. I will definitely be going back. I had a chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and was not disappointed.

I had their ziti pizza. It was thicker than what I usually see — which I appreciated and I loved it. Lots of pasta and cheese, one slice is a meal in itself. I also had their peanut butter ice cream pie and it was OK — I think it had been in the freezer too long and was life a rock! I know ICECREAM cake is hard but usually when you’re serving it you let it sit out a minute so I fork can go through it. When I first tried to take a bite my fork flipped the whole thing over like I was trying to slice into an ice cube. The pizza was great, I just won’t get dessert again.

The pizza reminds me of good olé Brooklyn pizza when I was a kid — love it! Pasta is very good too. Overall a good place to grab a quick slice or low key family dinner.

This pizzeria is close to my friend’s house so we’ve ordered there before and although it’s not the best, it passes as sustenance. During our last order I calculated that they had overcharged us by $ 2, which I thought nothing of at the time and just assumed someone just screwed up and I’m not going all the way back for $ 2. For our last order it happened again and the tax seemed to be calculated at 13%? I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Somewhere where appropriate calculations are done.

Go for the pizza, wings or cold heros. I’ve tried nearly all of the pasta and parm subs at this place and the pasta and parm subs are horrible, the whole lot of them. My old review still stands though, pizza and wings are the best thing going for this place and the cold heros are good as well.
