Always a family favorite. Never have a problem with service and has a variety of foods for everyone’s taste in the family. Love their burgers.

Went for a late lunch in the diner. We had a Cajun philly and a patty melt. The philly was really good. Great flavor so hard to find in AK.
Our service was fast and good we drank water and it seemed that we were really thirsty because out waitress kept refilling and refilling. No lack of attention and the water tasted just fine, wasn’t watered down at all .
The trout house has taxidermy fish all over one wall. Photos of folks with their big catches all over the walls, and does serve fish. It is a simple place and that is a good thing no corporate BS here. We will be returning for breakfast.

Ordered the breaded halibut and mashed potatoes along with the fire roasted vegetable soup. Soup was hot and spiced well. Presentation was noticeably great. The fish was lightly breaded and flakey. Everything tasted great. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in Wasilla.
