I found these guys through craigslist ads (sketch right?) and being in need of a vehicle asap for my girlfriend who would be doing daily long daily commutes I decided to check them out. I’ve had awesome experiences with vehicles purchased from dealer auctions. Joe and Jonathan were super helpful, I test drove about 4 different cars before finally settling on a 2010 Dodge Caliber, and under kbb value (again makes me worry something is wrong). I got a 3,000 $ 60 month/48,000 mile warranty that covers basically everything except brakes And tires, overall a very pleasant and upfront experience. Won’t go 5 stars just because I haven’t had much time with the vehicle yet but definitely worth the 3 I gave.

As mentioned by the previous reviews, I went here with to accompany an acquaintance that was buying her first car and yes, their cars usually have high mileage and rattlecan painted bumpers and is usually above market price. Verify with TRUECAR before buying. If you aren’t particular with details, you might enjoy car shopping here.
They cater to a certain market which would be first time buyers or really bad credit. Being a «your job is your credit» used car lot, you should lower your expectations. It’s an opportunity to capitalize on your bad situation which a lot of these places really are. However, some people do really see this as an opportunity for them to own a car again. This should be your last resort.

WARNING: These guys are pros at polishing turds! They have shitty vehicles and expect top dollar for them. The «big guy» that works there is a real asshole. Very unprofessional. One vehicle had parts fall off it when we shut the door and the other we looked at didn’t even start. This should be a junkyard… which is what it looks like! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME TO EVEN LOOK!!!

Easiest car buying experience ever!!! Call these guys they‘ll hook you up!!!

Went in to buy a car for a friend whose car recently died and did not have the thousands of dollars it would need to fix it. Hooked me up with a cheap ~$ 650 1995 Toyota Corolla. Friend was happy, I was happy. It’s still running great. Although I was satisfied with the sale and friendliness of the employees, getting the title to the car took longer than I would have liked. My friend who drives it daily got pulled over by the police for having a Washington state «dealer trip permit» which the Oregon police didn’t recognize. I eventually got the title and got a plate, and all is well.

This is your typical shister auction vehicle store. You know the routine «Drives great» :“Will finance anyone” «Your job is your credit». They ripped off my buddy who bought a Chevy truck. The electrical konked out the first week.
As far as those two looong glowing reviews… well when did you ever see Unilocal reviews that extensive? Those are clearly fakes done by the staff or their friends.
Steer clear, you are better off buying on craiglist.

Okay so here I am no extra money in my pocket driving a 98 Dodge Durango and the steering starts to go out, way too much play in the steering wheel, then the breaks need to be done now. As luck would have it I am riding on bald tires where the steal was starting to show. When all of a sudden i start my car up to head home from the grocery store, «BOOM» there goes the muffler as it breaks apart. So here I am driving this damn thing home like I am driving a Diesel Bus.
Wife is embarrassed, kids are hiding their faces as I pick them up from school. My son walked in the opposite direction.
Here I am sitting there going what am I am going to do. I only have X amount for brakes and tires, now all this other stuff. I can either dump a crap load of $ in a car that is not worth anything or I try and upgrade a little with little or no down. Who’s going to finance me???
My wife tells me Saturday morning to head down to that place in town on the corner, we didn’t know the name at the time but I do NOW! Triple C Auto Brokers baby!
This is your local family owned placed with friendly staff who love what they do, really they do. To have a discussion with the owner continuously through the process is never heard of where I come from. Gary the gentleman that helped me was a pleasure to work with. He took time to understand your personal situation and what you wanted. Never did he push me towards anything. I asked questions and he polity answered them all. If he didn’t know he went and found the answer and gave me no BS. During the process he was asking my two little girls what they wanted in a car, WHAAAAT? No way… yeah this guys was on it. They were honest and he respected them even being so young.
After a few test drives we found two we liked, one more expensive than the other. During the process Chuck (Owner) and Gary walked us through what it would look like. I explained my situation and they were kind about it all. We went back and forth with suggestions and changes to the offers and ran numbers. NEVER did I ever feel pressured. They even asked me if I wanted to think about it and bring my wife by. During this process Chuck even recommended the lower vehicle to say hey rebuild and then come back for the other one. Again WHAAAATT? What salesman/​owner does that???
While this was going on the other gentleman in the office (I forgot his name I apologize) helped my daughters. So I now refer to him as Uncle Buck! Great guy! While I am dealing with the car stuff Uncle Buck takes care of my girls asking if they would like a piece of pizza while daddy is working on the paperwork. Something to Drink? and so on. Then he proceeds to turn on the Disney channel on the TV so they could watch something that interests them. WHAAAAT?
After it was all said and done and few hours away from my Saturday with the girls we drove away in a vehicle that made my family and I feel safe.
Issue: There is always an issue with a used car right… has to be. So we drove a bit and I ended up taking it back to Chuck and had him take a listen to the sound the car was making. He agreed that was not normal and it even started after I drove away. He said «I tell ya what my mechanics are cone for the day but bring it back Monday and we will take care of it.»
Before I could return to get this noise looked at I received a follow up call from Gary to let me know that all the paperwork was in order and all was great with the transaction! Great customer service!
I actually came in on Tuesday to get the car looked at and Chuck had the Mechanic stop what he was doing to help me. The mechanic was extremely friendly and talked to me about the vehicle and answered my questions as he was doing his inspection. After about 15 minutes he found a valve issue. Pulled it out and it was shot. They sent their lot attendant to run down to the local auto parts store (I won’t tell you who because they were rude to me once, :-)) But Washougal is small town and you can figure it out.
10 minutes later I was out the lot driving again and it was quiet as a car can be.

I will return when my son is ready to pick out his car, he just has to save some $$$ first…

Do not trust this place. I bought a $ 13,000 truck from here with a 6month power train warranty but when the truck broke down a month after buying it and telling them what TWO other mechanics saw wrong with the truck and being told it was a death trap on wheels, they proceeded to take 3 months to fix only half of what was wring with it, the part that WASN’T covered under warranty, got a lawyer and threatened me with a lawyer. Got the truck back supposed to be half fix and it broke down on our way home. Got told its on us to fix the transmission, alternator and battery since they fixed the whole front end. So my $ 13,000 truck is down broke down and I’m still paying for it after asking for our money back. I would never go back here.

I recently bought a truck at Triple C. They said they would grant a 90 day warranty on the entire truck, but when I picked it up the owner was unavailable and the warranty was only for the power train, not what had been promised. They also were supposed to fix the heater. First time I tried to use the heater last week, it did not work. This is one sleazy outfit.
Also, they never tried to contact me (they had my address and phone #). What a bunch of scumbags!

When I needed a new car ASAP and have no credit to speak of, my car savvy father told me to find the shadiest lot in town — so I found the make and model of car that I was looking for (cheapest in my 2+ month long search, btw) at Triple C Auto and gave Gary a call purely based on the fact that they were in the middle of nowhere and had to reviews online to speak of. Turns out that this was the best decision that I could have made. Although these guys are not the biggest nor most impressive car lot in the greater Portland area, they sure are the best.
To begin with, this was a no hassle, no pressure experience. I came out and looked at the car and the only question that Gary had for me was «Did you like the way it drove for you?» What kind of car salesman does that?! I’m still having nightmares about being stalked by employees at other larger Portland area dealerships that we also visited.
The paper signing process was painless. Although we technically couldn’t process the loan on that day (weekend) and I didn’t have a down payment because I didn’t get paid until Monday, they made copies of my earnings statement, gave me the number for the best loan gal in the world that just happened to operate at my credit union, and sent me on my way in my new car. I had shopped at 10 – 15 other dealers and sent in my loan information and they had just laughed at me and sent me on my way. I couldn’t believe that after spending 4 hours at this place that I was driving away in a (new) used car.
Everyone that worked there was awesome — it’s a small place, and the employees are like family and they treated my family and I the exact same way. They went above and beyond to help us out and held our hands through every step of the process so that we understood exactly what was going on. There was no upselling or screwing us over — they were upfront and honest about everything. They were even happy to deal with my overprotective mama bear. We sat around and bullshitted for a few hours while they processed the paperwork, and they all seemed to genuinely want what was best for me — and they had some pretty good one liners, which of course makes the day go by fast.
I’ve only had the car for 3 days so we will see how mechanically sound it is, but just based upon customer service and a willingness to work with me I give these guys 5 stars.
