Kam Fung Chinese Restaurant

Really, really good Chinese food. Definitely the best in the area. I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, and now I crave their chicken and broccoli all the time!

As a local, it’s my go-​to choice for take out. Love the Sesame Beef and Beef Chow Fun.

Great Chinese. Came up to Washingtonville from NYC and I’m impressed.
Sesame chicken was really good. Lots of sauce which wasn’t overly sweet and had great flavor. Real chicken sans a ton of breading.
My wife got beef and broccoli. A ridiculous amount of sauce, good broccoli.
It’s really cold inside and its not even winter. Bring a hat and some warm clothes.

Very good food prepared fresh and very quickly. My wife loves the wonton soup and we still drive there to pick up chinese occasionally.

The food is the best Chinese food I’ve had since I left the city… It’s fresh and always quick… The only problem is they don’t take credit cards… But so worth it anyways… And they always deliver super fast! I love these guys!

I had the black bean sauce three times and each time it was prepared differently, with different vegetables. None of the food has any discernible taste, just bland food. If one particular female takes your order, no matter how busy they are, she tells you ‘ten minutes’.
Tonight, fifteen minutes after I placed my order, I arrived at the restaurant and waited another fifteen minutes (this is not the first time this happened) and watched my bag with the #6 menu sticking out of it sitting on the counter. They were obviously waiting to complete the order. When it was finally done, I asked if the food inside the bag was still hot. I was assured that it was but suspected that it wasn’t. An instant read thermometer when I arrived home showed 130 degrees, a full ten degrees below the ‘safe zone’. So it’s reheated food right out of the bag!
I’ve had various dishes at this restaurant and they are all bland, not colorless but odorless and tasteless. They seem to more interested in just cranking out the ‘food’ and collecting the cash. If you complain over the phone or at the restaurant about the food, they’re always ‘sorry’. I’m not sorry that I will not visit this place again.

By far the best chicken and broccoli I’ve had. Everywhere else is a disappointment after growing up with kam fungs. Never have had any issues and everyone always loves their meal. *CASH ONLY*. Wish they took cards but it’s worth the quick stop to the ATM

Really delicious food. Good moo goo gai pan, good wonton soup.

Good food, they deliver, and always seem to be open. Never ordered a bad meal from here. Best in town for sure.
