F.E.A.S.T. at Round Hill

My husband and I were married here. The logistics were a bit tough for us because my husband and I were both active duty military at the time and no where near NY, but the staff was great. My mother would go to the Round Hill House and conference call us in, we were able to establish the menu, plan for the day, even the wedding colors, all over the phone.
We had a Carnegie Hall violinist for the ceremony, the FDNY pipes and drums during the reception, and LOTS of flowers — they accommodated everything. The food was terrific, the prices were great, and the staff was amazing.

I’ve attended a number of weddings in the NY area and I’ve gotta say this was one of the most stunning places. Yes it is about a 2 hour drive north but it isn’t too far from the outlets so if you’re willing to go shopping there it’s not a bad idea to attend a wedding there!
It felt very homey walking in during cocktail hour — it really felt like you were in someone’s house. The garden outside was quite zen and a lovely place to chill out away from the crowd. The staff were attentive and the hors d’oeuvres complemented the drinks well.
It was nice having the dance floor separate to the dining room so not everyone was in the dark with the disco lights pumping. The atmosphere and food was absolutely amazing and had such a great time there.

My wife and I were married here on June14th, 2014. I got so many comments on Facebook from the pictures we took asking «where on earth did you folks get married, it’s so amazing looking». My honest response was we basically got married in Rivendell (that’s a Lord of The Rings reference in case you don’t know, the amazing woodland realm where the elves reside). It is that beautiful!!!
This place was perfect for our wedding with 100 guests. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The weather was perfect. We got married in the garden, under the tree. On that day the weather was 100% sunny and 72 degrees, with a light breeze that made the tree under which we were married «talk» to us with its leaves. It could not have been more perfect.
And then let’s not forget the house itself. The fact that it’s a house is so superb. There’s a giant room for eating, and a separate giant room for dancing so everyone can do their own thing at their leisure. Amazing layout. Also, all of the food is very very good. Not understanding another review that says something to the contrary.
If you’re contemplating getting married here, trust me, it is impossible for you to make a mistake in deciding so. From the heart!

My daughter’s wedding was indeed her best day ever and Peter, who was never more than a phone call away for an entire year, Kim, who kept the day flowing as if by magic, and a staff of champions, were the reason the day turned out so perfectly. The cocktail hour foods were to die for and the stations were kept brimming with an exceptionally fresh and tasty assortment of foods. The bartenders know their stuff and seemed to have the ability to focus on every guest’s specific orders. The grounds accommodated a large gathering yet had a very intimate feel. Did I say how beautiful the setting was? Even with a late spring, it was breathtaking!

I think the place looks great; beautiful pictures for sure and a very warm place. I must say though, the other reviewers must have VERY low standards for food. I had to spit out quite a few of the butlered cocktail hour offerings. Fresh out of the box at best. Be warned, don’t expect too much by way of food. «Sweet Potato Taco with spiced pork and corn salsa»: a sweet potato waffle fry with cold flavorless pork and a few kernels of corn.

An outstanding catering place. Went to a wedding here from Cali in 2011. Staff were very clean and practiced. The ballroom was HUGE. Not bad for the location, but a little too close to the road. Yeah, try it out. It’s quite a place

I was a guest at a wedding here this past weekend and was very impressed by everything! I felt like I was attending an event in someones old Victorian home, which I thought was really cool. The space is not exceptionally large, so this is a great place for a more intimate wedding. The couple that got married had their ceremony in a room right next to the dining area and then we moved right into cocktail hour. The food was nonstop but in a good way. We claimed a small cocktail table and the servers just kept coming over to use with different types of hors d’oeuvres — bruschetta, steak on toast, fried ravioli, quesadillas, mushroom mini quiches and the list goes on and on. Our entrees were good, but nothing exceptional. I do think that the cocktail hour out shined the main course. I had the chicken and it was made with some sort of maple glaze that tasted a little too much like maple syrup. However, I will not hold that against them too much because the booze flowed here between the bartenders and servers. Needless to say, service was outstanding. The décor and ambiance was beautiful. Very nice wedding.

My husband and I are moving overseas rather soon to work for the military and decided we were going to tie the knot on rather short notice. As we perused the internet for wedding venues near my home town we came across the website for F.E.A.S.T in Washingtonville, NY and noticed they had a cancellation that would suit our needs.
Not only did they book the date for us right away but they were amazing through the whole process. From choosing the menu to last minute changes and assistance with us planning the event from 1,500 miles away, the staff at F.E.A.S.T. was phenomenal. Our wedding was a small ceremony held out on the deck of the establishment with a cozy 40+ guests in attendance. The bridal suit is lovely, panted in soft colors and fitting enough for nearly 10 people. The atmosphere of the reception hall was vibrant and classy. The food was AMAZING (whatever I had of it that day). My family and friends were also thrilled with, as was I, the kindness and joyful exuberance of the staff. Our Maitre’D was Kim and she couldn’t have been more helpful and delightful.
If you are looking to have a wedding or special event in the Hudson Valley, this IS the place you’ve been looking for. Their pricing is more than reasonable and you get far more than you’ve paid for. It was a shear pleasure to have our special day here.

Man, what lovely people they all are! My friend had her wedding there, and I was in her bridal party. From the time we arrived until we left, everything went off without a hitch. The maitre’d Lauren was friendly, and professional. When one of the bridesmaid’s had a fussy baby, Lauren (?) scooped up the baby, and let the photographer knock out some more photos. When the bride was getting her makeup on, she popped in with mimosas and ice water. When the appetisers were going around during the cocktail hour before the wedding ceremony, she made up a plate of every appetiser they served, and brought it up to the bridal suite, so that the bride could catch a bite when she had time.
The food was amazing. They had a varied and exotic menu, and plenty of vegan options on there. Which, of course, Lauren made sure that my husband and I each got a heaping plate of! It was like she was everywhere at the same time somehow.
Then there’s the rest of the staff. The bartenders, the serving staff, the assistants – EVERYONE – was amazingly friendly and courteous. Everyone had a ready smile waiting for you when you approached them. When people enjoy their work, it really shows, and the folks at FEAST at Round Hill all love their work.
The service is flawless. The food is excellent. The location is stunning. Really, I don’t know what else one could ask for!

My wife and I got married here. They are as good as it gets in every catergory. We found that they offered the best of everything. From the moment we arrived and took the 1^st tour of the grounds all the way up to our wedding day, the staff was beyond helpfull.
When you think weddings you dont always think of stand out food. F.e.a.s.t. completely exceeded our expectations and those of our guests as to what wedding food should be. Using locally sourced ingredients prepared and served cleanly they were able to accomplish a meal that pleased every diet at our 150+ person wedding, including multiple vegetarians and special needs diners. The appetizers were ALL homemade and varied widely from sushi to samosas to duck burrito’s.
The main course was served buffet style and included the chicken sauteed with currants and apples in a Calvados liquer, medallions of beef with a cabernet sauce, and a napoleon of grilled vegetables amongst other things. There was PLENTY of food to the point the staff provided my wife and I with a well put together doggy back including tupperware and a re-​usable cooler with the F.e.a.s.t. logo.
Our guests continually (years later) tell us that our wedding ruined the other ones they attended since F.e.a.s.t set the bar SO high. We could not have been happier with every aspect of the food, staff and service we recieved.
