This company failed to pick us up for our Washington After Dark at our hotel. They did not have the decency to call us. We waited and when they were 20 minutes late we called and they said they would not pick us up and that we could take a cab to a hotel 6 miles away. We tried to get a cab and we were told they could not get us there on time! Ruined my trip as it was my only opportunity to take this tour during my stay. Worst customer service ever experienced!

The other reviews sre very unfair. The tour is reasonably priced and the guide was extremely accommodating and amusing. The guide was extremely knowledgeable of all the major sites. Tje bus was comfortable and spacious.

Booked this tour for $ 39 per adult from our hotel, Sheraton Alexandria. The van that picked us up at the hotel was on time and the driver was very nice.
My issues with this tour is that I felt that we were rushed at the six stops bc of the schedule, the bus was old (seats were pretty beat up).
The positive things about this tour is that it is narrated and the tour driver was very knowledgable, nice, and accommodating. I felt that three stars was fair because for the price, what do you expect? You get an old bus, but the tour driver is very knowledgable and courteous.

Dirty filthy buses. They made us change buses once. It was no better. A mini bus took us back to the hotel. When I put my arm on the arm rest the entire side panel came off. The driver looked he rolled right out of bed. He seemed to know a good bit but was rather surly. I was embarrassed to be on such a filthy bus when I saw all the other tour buses and their drivers who were dressed professionally. Be sure when you book to ask WHO IS THE TOUR OPERATOR. We booked through Viator. They are a tour AGGREGATOR. Check out the tour operator before you book. If it’s Zohery Tours, find a different one. This was the worst.

The tour covered decent sights with 4 stops though the bus was old; seats felt itchy; windows dirty so hard to get clear photos; driver started driving away at one point but we were able to stop him; after another stop, we were told we weren’t allowed to switch seats but our seats had been taken by others; now we’re not leaving timely because he’s waiting for latecomers (who never showed so we took off); I’ll stop here.

My husband and I went on the tour with Ali on December 25th. From the moment he picked us up, he showed great knowledge of DC. We were the only ones on the tour, which was nice. Ali knows everything about the history, buildings and sculptures and makes sure you learn as much as possible about this city. We saw everything on the list and loved learning from him. He knows a lot of random facts and tidbits which delighted me. We are glad we went on this tour, it showed us a different view of DC. I would do it again.

Maybe I should give this a 2 Star but I want to make sure that you as the reader don not make a mistake and take this tour.
Over the years I have been on 3 different tours. This one was by FAR the worst and the price is about the same for all three.
We chose this tour because it picked up at our hotel (and because the bell man pushed us towards this one).
Lloyd, our tour leader was the only positive. And he was only average at best!
The bus absolutely sucked. Uncomfortable, noisy and had poor sightseeing abilities. When it picked us up I really thought it was our shuttle to the «real» bus!
The stops were so short I felt like I had to power walk each monument and now feel like I need to drive back to a few just to get a better look.
To enjoy your sightseeing trip pick another company! I wish I would have did a better job of researching before I spent my $.

Good first… Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Lloyd, was friendly, knowledgeable and very funny. In fact he’s the only reasoning gave this company 3 stars, and I would have given 4 stars if we hadn’t had the other problems…
Bad… We got the brochure for the company from our hotel. When we called to make a reservation we were told to book online. We thought… ok, whatever, so we scheduled online. Both the brochure and website said to meet in front of the Hyatt, but never mentioned that there is NO parking ANYWHERE, or we might have taken a taxi. Instead we ended having to pay $ 42 for 4 hours and park at another hotel. VERY inconvenient!!!
All in all, we would probably never use this company again.

Don’t take a tour with this company. I was charged twice and didn’t realize it until I got my credit card statement. What a hassle! The tour started 30 minutes late and not all sites were visited because of the lateness of the tour. They also dropped my family off at the wrong Metro stop so I had to find them on the Metro! Find another company!!!

What an awful experience. We were promised a pickup at our hotel, but instead he didn’t show. Reached by phone, he claimed to be running late. An hour later, he promised to call back to get us on a tour. Then he never did. What a moronic way to run a business. Not happy having to waste an evening waiting for a tour bus that never showed.
