Shoprite from home at this location has gotten terrible! It use to be good but not anymore. Whoever does my shopping gives me milk that expires in a few days, salad that expires the next day and when I ask for organic grapes they give me regular and just take them out of the plastic and put them in a yellow shop rite bag. I know because the grapes are the size of ping pong balls, obviously they are GMO (genetically modified). This has happened with my last three orders. With A&P ready to close we have nowhere else to shop! Hopefully a manager will see this and make some changes to shop rite from home! Better yet, maybe a Wegman’s or Trader Joe’s will replace the A&P! Wishful thinking:)

Don’t get me wrong, this Shoprite is huge and clean. There is so many different variations of food however, I spend way too much time trying to look for it… Kind of unorganized. I’ve found myself avoiding this place at times because I had minimal time to run errands and I just didn’t have time to guess which aisle had what.
BUT– staff is nice, self check out assistants are very friendly.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly here when I am looking for something. Consistent good value for the price paid. We have bought a few custom-​made birthday cakes there and they were a real hit. Their selection of healthy/​organic items is decent. If there is one weak spot, it is probably the meat, although I don’t usually ask for specialty cuts from their butchers. The fish is good. Understandably, the store is targeted at the value and budget oriented customer and very high end items won’t sell here.

This store is very cluttered and unorganized. The produce and meats go bad very quickly. I’ve seen moldy produce. No one bags anymore. Go somewhere else. Wish it was a stop and shop instead.

This shop rite blows. produce isle smells. the place is unorganized. Felt like a rat in a maze. Go to shop rite of clinton. That one is a thousand times cleaner, more organized, smells better.

This is one of the nicest shoprites around and yes it’s still fairly new. It could use more health foods and organic products.
