History
Established in 2014.
Originally located in Romeo, the 31,000 sq. ft. opened in October of 2004 in the Adam’s Corner Shopping Plaza. The site which had been vacant after having been formerly occupied by the Camall Company, was converted to Salvation Army use and included 7 fitting rooms, plenty of parking and a convenient donation drop off site which was supported by the community. This site provided employment to 35 people who are assisted by 1 volunteer.
On October 4th, 2014 the store moved to 66 011 Van Dyke in Washington Twp. The new location expanded from 31,000 sqft to 32,000 sqft. When the doors opened on that wet and chilly morning, 129 shoppers were waiting in line. The store will still be maintained by 35 employees and 1 volunteer.
