Mr. Gyros

1^st time got here, gyros are pretty good and everyone there is so nice. Would like to come back again.

Their gyro, fries, Greek salads, and Aphrodite’s platter have yet to disappoint. Always quick and friendly service.

I don’t eat here often. The food is always good. The gyros are the best I’ve had. I’ve never had an issue here with service.

I have had Mr. Gyros on quite a few locations including in the actual business and when they come to courthouse square for the washington county employees on Thursdays.
I usually get the flafel, and it’s dry, and I mean really dry. The sandwich itself is a decent price, and getting the combo meal keeps it all reasonable, but the chickpeas need something added to them to help retain moisture.
The meatless grape leaves are deliscious, especially when warmed up and squirted with some lemon. They have the perfect consistency and allow for the flavors to explode in your mouth.
The rice pudding is probably the favorite thing the shop has, it is so perfect!
I have never had their gyros, but I hear they are amazing. I just wish they would step up their flafel game!

Excellent place. I had the lamb gyro. It was a little salty but not too bad. Very nice cozy place with a nice staff.

Excellent local Greek place in downtown Washington. The gyros are great, the super gyro had so much meat that you can’t keep it in the pita, my girlfriend had the grape leaves, which she liked very much, and I can’t wait to try the lemon Greek burger. They have an email club, which sporadically offers specials, and the people who work here are very friendly. Give them a try!

Pretty good for a delivery place! Had the chicken gyro with cheese sticks and was very satisfied! Longer delivery time takes about 40 minutes though.

The new ownership seemed to shake things up for a bit, but now things seem to be sailing smoothly. I love the gyros but also the salads. I love the avgolemono though they haven’t had it recently. Very good experience overall!

The food here is delicious and authentic. You can get gyros, hummus, grape leaves, and the lovely baklava. The food comes out quickly and is alwaya hot! The staff is personable and very welcoming. There isnt much sitting so come early. You may want to order out or even get delivery for a $ 10 minimum. The fries are my absolute favorite! Come here and you won’t be disappointed!

A great little place to stop for some tasty food. They have the best gyro I’ve ever experienced. I always get the lamb, but they also have beef and chicken gyros. The meat is real thick cut slices of deliciousness. The employees are always extremely helpful and seem genuinely nice. Fries are really crispy and worth a try. They have a lot of other things on the menu that sound geat, but I’ve never made it past the gryo. Highly recommended!

Gyros used to be top notch. Since the new owners took over its down to a normal run of the mill gyro. Nothing special anymore. Sauce leaves a lot to be desired.

Surprised to find this treasure here. Had Super Gyro. Friendly staf, great service and timely food. you will love it.

We stopped into this place for lunch based on the Unilocal reviews and couldn’t have been happier. Got a Gyro and fries. Fresh, hot and delicious. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.
We got a relatively quick meal and the food was very high quality. The service was very friendly. Absolutely worth checking out.

I have tried to order twice from them only to be told they’re out of falafel for the day. Given that I’ve ordered around 12pm, this doesn’t give me good vibes about the freshness of their food. Today was particularly irksome because right when I should’ve been picking up my food, they call to tell me they «just ran out».
When I have actually gotten an order in, it’s been increasingly disappointing. Last time I ordered meatless grape leaves only to get back to my office and discover grape leaves with meat in them. The falafel was dry.
What a disappointment.

Waited 25 min for a salad. I understand they were busy but I watched them pulled my pre-​made salad out and place it on the make table and it sat there for 15 more minutes be for they reached behind and grabbed the gyro meat for it. Once I got back to my office after my break was already c online waiting for my food they didn’t even put the dressing in there. Yummy dry salad is the best, soup was cold too because they put that in the container and let it sit there with my salad.

Stopped here while driving from DC to Dayton, a little off the beaten path but worth the detour! Tiny little place that seemed popular with the locals and had quite a few good reviews. the gryo was awesome and the fries were fantastic! They had some sort of breading or something that made them really good! I would definitely stop in here again! Fast friendly service as well! Check them out!

Get a gyro!
Stopped here for lunch on our way east on I-​70. I got the Gyro and it was great! Meat is tasty and the bread is awesome! The fries are good too. Service was great and they even snuck each table with a few pieces of cookies at the end of the meal! :)

Mr Gyro’s is excellent for a quick lunch break! My friend Amy and I have become regulars and we will stick with the new owner, John! Thank you for fixing the Yogurt sauce!
I loved my Greek gyro platter! You get soo much delicious succulent lamb, a Greek salad, and rice! Amy always raves about the chicken gyros!

Tonight they had a great deal — 3 gyros and fries for $ 15.99. The service was prompt and friendly. The fries seemed to be battered and fried. They were pretty crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The gyro was good — not great but not bad.
The main issue I had with this place was there were a lot of flies. Flies in a restaurant to me is usually not a good sign for me. There’s something about eating in a restaurant with flies that just doesn’t sit right with me.

Definitely one of the best gyros I have ever had. I was visiting the nearby Webb & Associates Chiropractic with my business partner as we are doing some branding work for them. While he took photos I was a bit hungry and decided to look up what was close by for quick eats. Not a ton of options so I settled on Mr. Gyros. Dear Lord, was that gyro absolutely delicious. The meat was well seasoned and had a great flavor, there was just the right amount of tzatziki sauce and everything tasted so fresh. The price was affordable as well.
I took my gyro to go, but the staff was exceptionally friendly, asking if I wanted a water while I waited for my gyro and if I needed anything else. The place seems to be a popular spot as I watched quite a few locals saunter in and out. It’s a small restaurant with only a few tables, but they make the most of their space.
If you find yourself in this part of Washington, definitely hit this place up. 5 stars indeed.
