These guys are great for small and medium size moves! Highly recommended! Don’t be fooled by the price… it might be cheap but these guys are first class!

Just so everyone is aware, Mightier Movers does not have a business license to conduct business in the District of Columbia.

Extremely professional and respectful, I was glad that I had found them on Unilocal to help me move across town. The move was quick, painless, and the price matched the estimate given to me online. I would definitely use them again next time I move!

Mightier Movers did a fantastic job! William & Elijah arrived early and packed, loaded, and unloaded the truck quickly and efficiently. This was my first time hiring a moving company but owner Nigel really made me feel comfortable and communicated with me several times prior to move day to confirm logistics and estimate. I was concerned about my heavy flat-​screen TV and a glass-​top desk and Nigel came by personally to ensure both items were transported securely.
Job was completed under time and under estimate! I would absolutely recommend the Mightier Movers team to anyone looking for painless and affordable moving service. Great job guys!

I was excited for their service and the price was great, but they tried to pull a bait-​and-​switch. The phone estimate was $ 125 for my move, then they emailed me the official estimate the night before the move with an added $ 75 truck fee. It was pretty dishonest so I cancelled.
If you use them, make them email the estimate and don’t believe what they say on the phone.

Searching for a cheap and careful moving service is tricky — even when you think you’ve found one, it seems like you have to assume the quote is just horribly inaccurate. The Unilocal reviews and the quote from Mightier Movers seemed a little too good to be true — but with the cheapest quotes, and five stars, we couldn’t not try.
My roommate and I were moving out of our 3^rd-​and-​4^th-​floor-​walk-​up. Needless to say, this building makes for a miserable move. The company that moved me IN got there, claimed they didn’t know about the stairs (so far from the truth), and my friends and I ended up doing 70% of the work and footing a huge bill. This time was the opposite.
Nigel asked detailed questions, and did his homework on the area to know whether or not I needed to get parking passes (I did in one place, but not the other). The quote was prompt. There was a $ 25 deposit to reserve our time, which we did.
The day of, William and Elijah arrived 30 minutes early, said absolutely nothing about our miserable stairs, and kept up a calm, steady pace. They had a good, methodical system for the order in which they moved our stuff, and so far I haven’t found a single scratch on any of my furniture. The packed-​up truck (which they don’t charge for) was an OCDgasm to look at. Not only that, but they even put all my furniture in the right places when we got to our new condo! (Not as common as you might think.)
These guys were friendly, careful, efficient, and despite our stairs and lots of odds and ends that weren’t packed well, I think we ended up coming in under quote! Book your move now, and make sure to tip well! :)

I found Mightier Movers on Unilocal and based on the reviews, I decided to give them a try. William and Elijah were great to work with, good energy and fun attitudes even at 8 am on a Sunday! They arrived early, worked efficiently, and all at a great rate.
If you have everything packed, wrapped, and ready to go, it’ll be a very smooth process. I highly recommend these guys for your next move.

William and Elijah were awesome. They worked hard and had a great attitude. They made hanging out with strangers for a few hours a completely enjoyable experience! The price couldn’t be beat. I honestly couldn’t have been happier with this service. It was worth every penny!

You can’t beat mightier movers for the price! William and Elijah moved two couches, a chair and a buffet storage cabinet for me. They arrived ten minutes ahead of time! They called when they were en route. They were fast, efficient and friendly. I would use them again for sure.

These guys are awesome. I have never used movers before, but I don’t think I would go anywhere else to get them. They are professional– they sent me job orders and moving details and arrived on time and were patient taking all my stuff. They don’t make you lift a finger (which apparently is quite common with movers). I had a one bedroom one apartment that I needed to get moved out and they were available and even offer you truck services if you need them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are inexpensive, but tip them well!!! They totally deserve it.
