We hired Tara to do day-​of coordination for our wedding, but she went incredibly above and beyond that brief for us. She did walk-​throughs at our venue with us. She helped us design the seating plan for our ceremony. She came out to coordinate our rehearsal, and showed up armed with an arsenal of tips and ideas for how to avoid common wedding pitfalls; she even thought of things we hadn’t even contemplated, like how to make the transition from my parents’ arms to my husband’s, and when my matron of honor should tweak the train of my dress for pictures. And on the day of the wedding, she ran everything like an absolute boss. We didn’t have to think about a single thing, and having Tara there made me feel relaxed in a way the wedding process made me think wasn’t even possible. She was one of the best parts of our wedding: brisk and professional without being impersonal, thoughtful and funny, and most of all, anticipating things we didn’t know we needed. Tara is a life-​saver, and I’ll definitely hire her the next time we throw any event more ambitious than a house party.

I am so glad we had Tara help us with our wedding, even though it was relatively small and not that complex. She gives you options about her level of involvement and is very clear about terms, costs, etc. of her services, always checking in before doing something if it’s going to cost more. She was amazingly pro-​active and thought of things I never would have (and didn’t care to) in terms of details and liaising with our hotel, caterers, etc. It took about a week of working with her before I realized I genuinely didn’t have to worry about much as I knew that if I didn’t think of something, she would, an in time to take care of it. She also went above and beyond in terms of prepping things like creative menus, cute ways to display seating charts, etc. She’s also personal and supportive and lends an air of «this is under control» to the planning and event.

A joy to work with. Competent, intelligent and able to handle ANYTHING that comes up. We hired Tara after learning of her business through her former supervisor. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how valuable her services are. You do have a choice in the amount of involvement she can provide. We chose to do a little more than the «day of» but wanted to handle most ourselves. It was the right move for us at the time, but in hindsight… turn it over… she’s that good. When not getting responses from vendors, I’d turn it over to her and it got done. The wedding was not without its challenges, but Tara worked out every one and only nabbed me for one decision — the rest were hers and all of them were right. The team I assembled worked incredibly well together, but all loved working with Tara. Do not hesitate to hire her. The results speak for themselves. She was the best qualified of the 5 that we interviewed and it showed.

Tara is phenomenal. She stepped into a difficult situation where our other wedding planner and the hotel event planner were not seeing eye to eye two weeks before our wedding and quickly built a great rapport and working relationship with everyone involved helping us to locate and book other vendors where our original event planner was missing the mark. She also helped us with a lot of the little details paying excellent attention to detail and working to ensure that her choices like the menu cards and place cards were all consistent with the our other materials. i cannot say enough about her work and even when the hotel event planner abandoned his responsibilities on the night of the event because he had resigned his job she kept her composure despite my anger that was wrongly directed toward her. I highly recommend Tara and suggest that she increase her rates as we thought that she had undercharged us so we gave her a very good gratuity. My partner and I are so grateful to her for helping us to pull off a great event despite all the challenges that occurred.
