Knoble Moving

Scott and Will came to unload my moving truck into my new DC apartment. They were 30 mins late, but got straight to work. They were fast and efficient. My building has a loading dock/​large freight elevator and they took 90 minutes to unload into my unit. They were respectful of my things and diligent with where they put boxes (i.e. put boxes labeled kitchen in the kitchen, etc). I totally recommended them! The total cost was $ 160 ($ 80/​hour with a 2 hour minimum). They do not charge for travel time to and from your apartment which is a big bonus.
Scott and Will were very professional. I hope I don’t have to move anytime soon, but would definitely use Knoble Moving again.

One of the best moving companies I’ve ever used. Not only were they able to accommodate a last minute request, but Sydney and Will were very courteous and efficient at unloading the truck and moving my furniture upstairs. Would highly recommend their services!

Moved a few days ago and Knoble movers was great. They were on time, professional and not over priced. No hidden fees and they got the job done quickly. Would 7se them again amd definitely recommend Knoble. I can’t put into words how pleased we were.

We could not have been more pleased with the Knoble Moving team. Prompt, organized and seriously hard workers — Sydney and Will moved our things from Arlington to Charlottesville with care and efficiency. Kevin organized everything in advance and was helpful throughout the move. Hats off to the whole team!

Knoble were great! I booked about 11 days ahead of my move and they were able to accommodate. The day of my move, I got a call about 10 minutes before my appointment from the movers, letting me know that they were running just a few minutes late, which I appreciated. When they got to my apartment, they were so quick and efficient in getting everything into the moving truck. I believe the movers’ names were Sidney and Will, and they were both very friendly and professional. Highly recommend, and the prices are pretty reasonable too.

Sydney & Will were my movers yesterday & not only were they beyond kind to me & my family… they were so easy-​going & able to make the best of a tough [logistically-​speaking] move out from a high-​rise condo unit to a single family detached home. I couldn’t have felt like my things were in more capable hands. I scheduled my move last minute with Kevin (last-​minute meaning: the morning of), and expected everything should’ve taken max 3 hours… it took a total of 5 hours, but these guys didn’t even bat an eyelash at the fact that we were a bit disorganized or that they’d be working late into a Saturday evening. They moved things for me with ease and professionalism, answered mine & my [tough-​as-​nails] mother’s every demand & did it with a smile. They were not only professional (using all the things that professional movers do: blankets, plastic wrap, carts), but were incredibly reasonably priced and seemed to put an immense value on my happiness. They even let me use a whole roll of their tape for no cost, and offered to bring boxes (which I would’ve had to pay for) when I said I didn’t have many. I couldn’t be more pleased & I can’t believe I’m saying all this because seriously: moving is stressful (especially when someone is 9 months pregnant & their husband’s out-​of-​town ;)). If you need movers, these are your guys!

Knoble Movers did a great job moving us from Alexandria to Arlington this past week. Mike and Emmanuel arrived on time, were careful with our things, worked quickly all day, and even told me to relax when I was obviously stressing out over everything, which was really nice. This is the second time we’ve used Knoble– they moved us from DC to Alexandria 2 years ago, and did a great job then too. Both times they confirmed ahead of time, arrived on time (or a bit early) and just overall did a great job. I’d highly recommend them!

These movers are by far the best ever! I had to move to the third floor without an elevator… I got three movers and I was packed and moved with in three hours!!! The price was reasonable and very fair. They came in time and didn’t damage anything.

Two years after the first move, we used Knoble to move from Alexandria to Arlington. We reserved by email and I spoke to Kevin the day before on the phone to reserve.
Emmanuel and Mike arrived on time and worked hard moving all of our stuff quickly and carefully. Once again, for the service they provided, the price they charged was a steal. We have already recommended Knoble to two different friends who have had positive experiences. We plan to use Knoble for any moves with have in the DC area.

This moving company exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I called several moving companies prior to finding Knoble. They were one of the best deals in the area and gentleman on the other end of the phone was extremely courteous and professional. On the day of my move, my movers Sydney and Will arrived EARLY with everything set to move my stuff out of storage and into my new apartment. These guys were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They had no problem backing the truck into the narrow loading dock and wrapped my furniture with blankets and plastic wrap before loading it into the truck. When we arrived at my new place they seamlessly moved everything into my apartment and even offered to put my bed together. Best moving experience hands down. Thank you Sydney and Will!!!

They were a bit late at first but once they got there Mike was a huge help and got the job done quickly for a better price than anyone else would offer.
Would definitely suggest using them.
They also take donations for charity so rather than leaving stuff on the street you can always call them to do some good.

I used Knoble for a relatively last-​minute (72 hour advanced notice) move. They managed to fit me in (and due to restrictions in my apartment building I had a very limited time slot), delivered boxes to my apartment in advance of the move (at a cheaper rate than I would have paid in the store), and showed up early on the day of the move. The guys were hard working and friendly. I would definitely recommend Knoble to anyone looking to move.

I have used Knoble Moving 3 times and they have been amazing on every job. The guys are nice, funny and enjoyable to spend a moving day with. They carefully wrap everything and are quick. Great price.

Amazing job for the price! I packed up ¾ of my 2 bed/​2 bath apartment and hired a team of 3 from Knoble to pack the rest and move everything into a townhouse. They come with everything: boxes, tape, paper, shrink wrap, dollys, and truck (everything included in price except boxes). They wrapped all of my furniture and glassware so well that it was pretty much indestructable afterward. They got everything into my new place where I wanted it and unwrapped in 4.5 hours. The best part, it only cost me $ 540. Other places in the area quoted me between $ 1500-​$ 2000 for the move! All of my furniture is in tact and they took all of the wrapping trash out with them when they left. I would highly recommend these guys.

The guys from Knoble were great. On time, worked hard, took great care of my stuff and incredibly nice. If you’re moving in DC I strongly suggest Knoble!

Knoble Moving was recommended to me by a close friend. These guys showed up on time with a crew of 3 people. I was surprised because we have a big family and A LOT of stuff. These guys worked their asses off all day! We had stuff stored in 3 different places and they moved it all into one house quickly and efficiently. My wife nor I lifted a single finger! They were far less expensive than other moving companies we looked at. We’ll be moving again and we’ll most definitely use them again.
I’m surprised to see the other poor reviews. Don’t answer their phone calls? That would be bizarre.

The move went smoothly, there were two men who moved me from my studio apartment and the whole event took about two hours. Two hours after that I noticed that my white board was missing. It was huge! I figured, we must have left it on the truck. No problem, let me call. I called, no one answered. I left a message letting them know I had left a white board in the moving truck. I never heard back. But I did hear back when I first called asking about a quote. Not cool.

These guys did really great on my last move a couple years, other than losing the check that I gave them in addition to the glass top to my chest of drawers.
Yesterday I was supposed to receive a confirmation call from them, which I did not. Today I called and emailed them several times, to have them show up an hour and a half late. Luckily, I didn’t have very much furniture to move and they were fast. Not sure if I would be willing to use them again.

These folks are legit. My boyfriend called them 3 days before I needed to move after another larger company I had been working with for two weeks told me they were actually booked on the day we needed to move. So rude! These guys were available so we jumped on them without reading any reviews.
On move day they showed up early and ready to work. They were super professional. Pointed out any existing nicks/​bumps/​scratches so there would be no confusion at the end. They wrapped anything that was breakable with their moving cloths. They even reassembled my bed once we got to the new spot! We not only tipped these guys but for their hard work we gave them some water and a plate of barbecue. They deserved it!
Even though I hate moving I will definitely will use them again if need be.
