Stopped in on a whim. Googled Chinese restaurants near my location, and this one came up so we decided to give it a try. We will definitely return. Had to try several of our favorites, so we had vegetable soup, Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Beef and Broccoli, and General Tso’s Chicken. Knew we would be taking leftovers home, and we were not disappointed. Food was piping hot, service was excellent, and prices very reasonable. This place does a brisk takeout business, which as to be a testimonial too!

I was so indifferent about this place, but my curiosity got the best of me to try it. And I figured, as worst, if my hubby and I didn’t like it, we had 5 kids which all or a few would love enough to devour. Lol, hey they are growing bones… they pretty much smash anything that come into this house. I called them to ask prices, because they don’t have a web page, nor had anyone posted a menu on Unilocal yet. When I asked for lunch combinations prices she said what do you want I said chicken, she said $ 5.50. Yep, ALL chicken lunch combos $ 5.50. They come with choice of white rice or pork fried rice, and either soup or egg roll. LOVE that they give you options. Like Ron C, some people don’t like egg rolls(GASP!!! Lol) and want soup instead, no uncharged here– get your soup on! I ordered Gia Kow and Cashew chicken— both AWESOMNESS!!! The veggies in both dishes are THE real deal. All fresh cut vegetables, and not over cooked. All with amazing texture, bite and crunch to them. Please note my pics to see their amazing vibrant green color. The chicken was fresh and tender too, real chicken. And real good. The rice was pork fried, and altho I’m not a huge fan, it was good too. Rice was tender, not dry or greasy and the whole bottom of the dish was filled, which you couldnt see. The eggs rolls were great too. Perfect mix of chicken, bean sprouts and veggies. Also, not greasy at all and cooked perfect. Great with their plum sauce. I’ve read the bad reviews, and I was Lear… BUT I’m so glad I tried it for myself. Fresh veggies/chicken, No MSG, and great prices are enough for me to return. *NOTE I posted the current carry out menu!!! Order away!

My family and I have eaten here a few different times with motsly postivie reviews. The worse thing I have had here was the Kung Pao chicken. This dish had absolutely no taste, no heat nothing. The sesame chicken is good as is the general Tso although I wish there was more heat with this dish. My wife enjoys the fried rice and the lo mein has gotten good reviews from people that I have been with who have eaten it. Overall not a bad choice for americanized Chinese food.

Ate dinner there yesterday. Nothing about it was good. The quality of the chicken was terrible on all three dishes. I’m not convinced that there was any real chicken in the Kung Pow. Sweet and sour chicken was 80% breading. Even the chicken fried rice was bad. Nothing was«authentic» Chinese. Service was also terrible. Felt that the waitress was«annoyed» the entire time. This was my second time here. I forgot how much I disliked it because we got carry out the first time and I didn’t pick it up. I will never eat here again. I do not have a single positive thing to say. Both my kids disliked it also.

As far as our family is concerned, this is the best Chinese in the Washington area. Good sized portions that normally fill in for a good lunch the following day also.

The best Chinese place I have ever ate! I can’t complain about one thing on their menu! I’m a huge food critic so I know good food when I eat it! Egg rolls are to die for! A+++. Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Chinese food! I’ve called when they were closing a few times and they still made my order. They are so nice and are hard workers for sure!

Good food good food! Let’s keep real and short. If you’re looking for a good oriental carry out with a fair price and quick service. Here we go great menu with lot of choice. You will get your money’s worth. I just wish they had a delivery program so I can get their food more often. Can’t alway do a pick up program.

I did not eat here, so my review is based solely on my analysis of the menu when I went in to look at it. I did not have any food, so my rating does not reflect food quality. I wanted to check out the menu before committing to eating here, so I went inside to look at it. It was lunchtime, so I was interested in any lunch specials that were offered, which most Chinese restaurants in the area offer. I saw some lunch specials and some combination plates, which were different. There were also full and half-sized dinners. I didn’t necessarily want a lot of food, but I wanted soup, rice, and an egg roll with my meal. None of the menu options seemed to include all of these items so I asked the server to clarify. She said that nothing on the menu comes with all three items. Almost everything comes with rice, but only either soup or egg roll. I was surprised by this so chose not to eat lunch here. Of course I could have added an extra side, but I was displeased that no options of its menu included the three basic sides that one expects from a Chinese restaurant.

Not impressed at all. Just moved to the area & was looking for some«comfort Chinese food» on a cold rainy day. Of all the reviews on Unilocal I decided to give this place a shot. Very disappointed. Cheap. But not worth it. The wonton soup was the only decent thing. I got the sesame chicken combo. I thing they got confused with the sweet & sour chicken. I’m not sure what it was. But I took a few bites & ended up throwing it away. And as for the fortune cookie? Zero flavor. Like eating paper… Back to the search for Chinese. Hope the next place is better…

We’ve had great food & good service every time we’ve eaten here. This is our«go to» Chinese place. Prices are reasonable, servings are plentiful, fried chicken isn’t dry, moo shu pork is always delicious & all of the flavors are what you expect them to be.

Was craving chinese buffet. But it was too late for that. So I Unilocaled this place, saw that my friend Ron C. gave it 5 stars so I ordered carry out with my wife. Shrimp fried rice = A+ Huge pieces of shrimp, delicious flavor, veggies but not too much. Definitely getting it again next time. General tso’s chicken(extra spicy) = B I know getting fried chicken with sauce to-go is a bad idea and I don’t blame them for the sogginess but there was more breading than I preferred and I wanted it extra spicy. But it was medium spicy in my book. Chicken Lo Mein = A+ One of the best Lo meins I’ve ever had. Flavorful to the max, noodles were cooked perfectly, not dry, not overcooked, not soaked in oil, but just right. And the amount of sauce was perfect. Egg drop soup = I dunno, my wife ate it all. Looked good, smelled good, Ron C. says it’s good, get it. I prefer egg drop over the other soups but I was so into the fried rice n Lo Mein I had no time for soup. Thank you China Town, you satisfied my craving for delicious Americanized Chinese food. I’ll be bock.

Big fan of the $ 5.50 kung pao special !! Truly I was running errands… pulled into a McDonalds. and talked myself out of it And this gem is near my dad’s girlfriends house Walked in & asked do you have lunch specials? What would you like? I said General Tso’s or King Pao She replied, pick one I make anything for you $ 5.50! So I ordered the Chicken Kung Pao, hold the egg roll. She replied, I can give you soup instead, sweet-sour– egg drop or wonton! SWEET! Free upgrade & no hassle substitution The Kung Pao, had that nice hot dark brown sauce, plenty of veggies & peanuts with fried rice. (see pic) The egg drop soup was piping hot & very flavorful!

I usually LOVE this place! But I just ordered take out from there and almost all the shrimp in my shrimp fried rice still had poop in them and the other half was way over cooked. I just took out the shrimp and still ate it although I’m still a little grossed out but other than that I’ve had no problems and the food is delicious!

We usually get take out. It is delicious and ready in a prompt 10 – 15 minutes. I have tried several different dishes and enjoyed them all thoroughly. It’s a very cute place, I would like to dine in some time!

Shrimp with lobster sauce was excellent and contained shrimp, roast pork and lots of krab. I like that they don’t use the cheap styro containers. I ordered a combination plate and the rice was under the entrée. Plenty of rice. I was very pleased with my meal.

I can’t stand going here. My husband enjoys the general tos chicken. Everything I’ve ever ordered was too salty. Everytime I order chicken and vegetables in clear sauce, the sauce is thick like snot! Once I get to that part of my meal, I have to stop eating. So grosse! I keep giving this place another shot since its less than a mile away and my husband enjoys it, but not anymore! Customer service is less desirable also!
