Blueberry Fields Bed & Breakfast

This has to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, I felt very welcomed. The room that i stayed if was very nice. It came with direct tv and free wifi. They have a game room setup downstairs and a library upstairs. Very peaceful and quiet, perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. They serve everything homemade and fresh. The blueberry coffee cakes are served fresh out of the oven before you even order your meal. They have many options and as soon as i saw the pumpkin pancakes I couldn’t resist. Everything was delicious. After breakfast, my girlfriend and I walked through their hiking trail and couldn’t believe how much this place has to offer. You could never have this experience sleeping in a hotel and I am so thankful for the recommendation to stay here.

Having heard several positive reports on the B&B and how terrific their breakfast is we decided to try for dinner and so happy we did. The service was ex. and the meal outstanding with very good salad/​dressing, ex. chicken cordon Blu and scallops to melt in you mouth. The desserts were perfect — one had cheesecake and one had Blueberry pie with ice cream… both yummy. We will go back.

We arrived later than expected, yet they were happy to leave the door open for us. The accommodations were simply amazing. The whole house was beautiful and decorated wonderfully. Our room was cozy and bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast the following morning, and the cookies they bagged and gave us when leaving, were delicious. They were marvelous hosts, and I would recommend stopping by and enjoying this superb bed and breakfast.

A lovely spot nestled in the farm country of the mid-​coast of Maine. The Blueberry Fields is a great spot to enjoy the hospitality of Cyd and Debbie in a recently opened B and B near Washington.
The impressive structure is a tribute to the hard work of Cyd and Debbie who did the vast majority of the construction which features exposed post and beam and pine finishes throughout.
We stayed in early October making use of the 1.5 miles of hiking trails on the property to have a chance to experience a piece of the Maine woods without any bugs or heat!
If you are staying a definite must do is ask for the Eustis room. The skylight over the bed is a nice touch. Just be sure to wake up once or twice during the night to enjoy the planetarium quality show going on over your head. That in itself made it worth the stay.
Cyd and Debbie are lovely hosts and made us feel like visiting family. All in all a great experience.
Not sure when we might be back in Maine as we live in Colorado, but for those of you in the East, this is a great place to kick back and relax.
