This place is SO MUCH more than just food and cupcakes, you feel such warmth the minute you walk in and you are treated like family. The food is absolutely amazing, like food from a high scale restaurant in the city, and so are the cupcakes! This is my family’s new favorite spot and I wish I had more stars to give. It’s not everyday you find a place and food like this at just a short 20 min drive away!

This is the best place in Washington to get lunch. They make the best orzo pasta salad, and the steak sandwich is so good. They always take the time to decorate the inside super nice as well!

Really impressed! Have been trying to get to this little place since they opened, but never knew the hours. Finally figured out they are open for lunch from 11 – 3 Monday-​Saturday and ordered take-​out today. Got the rice balls, pot stickers, and the blackened chicken sandwich with fries. The presentation was beautiful especially considering it was take-​out. The rice balls were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were in a delicious vodka sauce with what I believe are strips of fried egg plant as a garnish. The pot stickers were nicely pan seared, not too soft and not too crispy, and came with a nice Asian salad/​slaw and sweet chili garlic sauce. The chicken sandwich was good sized on a nice ciabatta roll and the chicken was lightly seasoned with Cajun spices. The french fries were perfect consistency, nice and crispy, and were salted and seasoned perfectly. The cupcakes were absolutely adorable, and had great flavors with rich and creamy icing. This is a great find in our little town and I can’t wait to return!

One of my favorite places to go for a great lunch and sweet treat for desert. The menu presents a delightful array of food choices. And there’s always specials that show a lot of creativity and thought to please the pallet… the stuffed potato soup is awesome and a winter favorite. The Tex-​Mex salad with grilled chicken is my favorite. Its always «fresher than fresh» and perfectly seasoned with a yummy house made lime vinaigrette. I love the fresh guacamole tucked away in the salad. Its a delicious surprise. The wait staff is caring and warm providing great service. The chefs clearly care about your experience and put their hearts into everything they prepare. I never forget to have some house made gelato or cheese cake for desert with a café latte to finish the meal. Don’t miss this great neighbor gem!

This place is FANTASTIC!!! In a small town of not the best options for food this place is beyond refreshing. The décor is fabulous, the service second to none and their story is inspiring. The food is very fresh and the selection is on point. Cupcakes are delish as well. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Currently wishing I had more stars to give! This is the cutest place not just in Washington, but in the world. Everything is homemade with love and baked to perfection with an Allie’s stamp. I’m officially obsessed.

The food is excellent, the dessert amazing (probably the best cupcake I’ve ever had), the service exceptional, the décor adorable, and the family spirit behind the establishment is heartwarming. If you live within driving distance of Washington NJ you MUST add this fantastic lunch place to your list of destination restaurants! Please support this gem in the middle of nowhere and spread the word.

Obsessed with this place! Only been here a few times but they have yet to introduce me to something I haven’t fallen in love with. Not only are their bakery items delicious but their lunch is spectacular! Once I tried their gelato, I fell in love even more. Very cute place and great food, highly recommend.

Love, love, love this place. The other reviewer is right-​this is a hidden gem of Washington. The food is so good here I’ve never actually had dessert here bc I fill up on the entrée.

Listen to the specials every time you go bc they change and are very good. I’ve had a blackened chicken sandwich special which should be on the menu full time bc it was awesome. I normally get the steak sandwich and riceball app when I go which are awesome. And my wife gets a salad or a wrap and they are awesome. I would also recommend an iced tea when you go. They are served in good size mason glasses.
I think the main thing that makes this place awesome is you could tell all the food is fresh and they aren’t afraid to add ingredients to the homemade sauces and dressings which adds really good flavor.
The prices are ok, I would say a dollar too much on all the items but it’s worth paying.

Took my grandkids for the cupcakes. Much more than that.
Started with the homemade chips and spinach cheese dip, delicious. Ordered extra chips for my granddaughter, who «didn’t want to eat».
Quesadillas were amazing, everyone enjoyed the strawberry and fruit salads.
Definitely worth the trip.
The wait staff and owner were a pleasure to deal with.

I feel like this is a hidden gem in Washington. The chicken avocado sandwich is amazing, as are the shrimp tacos. Pasta salad is also really good. I’d recommend this place.

I have been here a few times and love it! Great little café atmosphere with some really delicious food. I love the Chicken Avocado Sandwich and the Strawberry Grilled Cheese in particular. The real star is the French Fries though! Best I’ve had – anywhere.
This place is a cupcakery, so please don’t expect a full range of bakery items (they do offer cookies, cakes and gelato). The cupcakes themselves are fantastic. I forget the actual name for it, but I loved this cappuccino one. YUM.
I love supporting small local businesses like this, and this café is an example of small business done right.

Allie’s is consistently good. They have a well planned menu, highlighted with daily specials. Best restaurant in Washington, other places should follow their example.

Interesting menu with the food made to order and delicious. The sandwiches are huge. Consider splitting one so you have room to enjoy a gelato or cupcake. A VERY pleasant, friendly place for lunch, coffee or snack.

Allie’s is simply delightful. I go often with my mom and my girlfriends. It is my mission to make sure everyone knows about this gem! The food is beyond amazing, service is great. I try something different every time I come in and the specials are always posted on their Facebook page. I’m not much for cupcakes in general, but the carrot cake and peanut butter silk pie are delectable. Food is fresh, a good variety and extremely flavorful. There have been two times I have come with friends with one or two children, they are very welcoming, patient and accommodating. Make no mistake, this isn’t a bakery, it is a cupcakery, in honor of the owners daughter, as well as a café. Always crowded and the food is prepared as it is ordered, so don’t be in a rush. It’s very peaceful in here and always decorated tastefully for the holidays. Byob too!

This place is awesome! Came here for a quick lunch and couldn’t be happier. Our waitress was so pleasant. The menu has a lot of good stuff. The Mediterranean wrap my mom got was delicious with hand cut fries. My girlfriends chicken quesadilla was cooked perfect and accompanied by fresh salsa and sour cream and was also very good. I got the special Venno wrap which was roasted veggies and fresh mozzarella and got the orzo pasta salad as a side which I enjoyed. Deff going to be back to try more things off the menu and I’d suggest going here for some tasty food. Oh and they make amazing cupcakes and cakes!!! So good.

Allie’s has warmed my heart since its opening nearly a year ago. With a simple but fine menu, this spot elevates it surroundings and gives reason to travel to Washington. I have tried many of the dishes and none disappoint. The service is outstanding and calls us back time and again. The salted Carmel cupcakes are worth every calorie. This is a delightful addition to our dining rotation!

This place is so cute! I’ve been meaning to stop by for a while now. The storefront is so cute and very inviting. The inside does not disappoint either. The décor is pink and brown and just what you would imagine a cupcake café to look like.
They serve lunch but I only ordered cupcake and ice cream. Both were fabulous. I will definitely be back again to try the lunch or just eat more cupcakes!
Only drawback is there is no handicap access. There is a small step to get in, and can be difficult with stroller or wheelchair.
Definitely worth a trip and I hope this place sticks around. It gives the whole downtown an elevated vibe.
