Dan graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management in 2005. Prior to opening AdvantaClean he had 8 years of experience working in commercial construction industry in the Washington, DC area. As owner and operator of AdvantaClean, he is MICRO certified for mold remediation, Lead Safe certified, and IICRC certified for water clean up.

I’ve seen AdvantaClean’s work first hand and I have to say Dan and his team do a great job. He keeps the customer’s best interest at heart and provides a great value. If you have a mold problem you’ve got to at least talk with him.

My wife and I called Advantaclean when we found mold in our new home… wasn’t really sure where to go, but Dan was amazing, and incredibly helpful. I was away, but he was still incredibly helpful working with my wife to inspect the whole area where we thought there may be a problem, and even recognized some other issues with our air temperature.
while we ultimately had our contractor handle the issue, we wold have been stuck if not for Dan; he was incredibly professional, timely, and really pleasant work with. Hopefully our issues are behind us, but if not, we will definitely be keeping AdvantaClean’s #. Thank yo again to Dan!

Dan was so great. He not only took care of our flooded basement apartment, he advised us on some of the peripheral issues (worked with the flooring installers, helped secure contractors for drywall repair, etc.) He was very thorough and very professional. His time estimates were right on and he documented throughout the process with photos and moisture readings. He always arrived on site when he said he would (texting a few minutes out) and worked very well with our other service providers. He also was careful to protect our tenants’ belongings throughout the process. I cannot say enough. Really great to work with.

We had water leaking into our basement guest suite with guests scheduled to arrive the following day. Advantaclean showed up within an hour of our 5 p.m. call to them and provided highly professional service. They set up de-​humidifiers and fans and left them there overnight. Things were dry by morning. Would definitely call them again. They are committed to excellent customer service and really know what they’re doing.
