David S.

Business Owner

David is the president and senior appraiser of Washingtonian Appraisals. David provides you with the benefit of his knowledge gained from over twenty years of art, antiques and auction house experience.

Born and raised in England, where he received a Classical education, David has been an autodidact from birth and his passion for antiques has grown from his days in primary school where he enjoyed trading fossils for antiquarian books and coins. Now he is excited to share with you his experience and knowledge.

What separates David from his peers is his love and enthusiasm for what he does. He has a vast amount of knowledge, much of it self-​taught, reflecting his desire to learn and his passion for the arts. He has worked as a professional appraiser both independently and as an auction house director.
