As a new District resident, I think WAMU has a great variety of programs for everyone. Morning Edition is my favorite program while others may enjoy The Kojo Nnamdi Show in the afternoon, which covers more local topics and personalities. Hosts also announce handy traffic updates (whereas my former member station did not). WAMU also carries top-​quality nationwide programs such as All Things Considered, Fresh Air, This American Life, etc. I like that their website also features blogs like DCentric and other news articles for the public’s interest.

Mary Cliff’s «Traditions» is one of the worst shows on any station. It’s mostly announcements of upcoming concerts and performances, with a smattering of music thrown in.
