The *gluten-free Muffin Man bakes exclusively gluten-free goods, mostly sweet and some savory. Currently, we are a bake-to-order business and do not have a storefront. The Muffin Man’s products are available at several local cafes in Washington, DC, and we’d love to supply your home, office, or special event with the gluten-free baked goods you want. Give us a call, we look forward to working with you!
Also, a note: Everything the Muffin Man makes is gluten-free. We do also have some vegan, sugar-free, nut-free and other allergen-free products, but we currently do not bake in a certified gluten– or allergen-free kitchen. Our gluten-intolerant baker loves what he makes, but he is not a Celiac and so cannot recommend our products for those highly sensitive to trace amounts of gluten.
History
Established in 2012.
I started the Muffin Man because I have always loved baking and eating baked goods. A few years ago, I discovered that I am gluten-intolerant and have been eating strictly gluten-free ever since. Tired of seeing the gluten-free goods relegated to «alternative» aisles, I decided to sell gluten-free treats that would appeal to everyone. Baking gluten-free means increased creativity and versatility, not less. It is a benefit for everyone, as I hope you are soon to discover by trying a treat from the Muffin Man!
