The Knowledge Academy

Myself and a colleague signed up for TOGAF 1 & 2 training offered through the Knowledge Academy. They advertise a low price guarantee, so I was quite happy when they offered to beat the cost of another course in the area.
Fastforward to a week and a half before the course, I receive an email saying that the course will have to be cancelled because they need a 3^rd person registered for the course to be able to cover their costs. Since there were only the 2 of us registered, they would not be able to make money off of us.
While this in itself is a pretty poor excuse for cancelling a class, we actually were able to find another one of our colleagues who tried to sign up. When he called, he was told that since each of us was going to receive a discounted rate, that we’d actually need a fourth person to sign up, so that the Knowledge Academy could cover their costs.
Obviously you can see how absurd this is. They advertise a low cost guarantee but don’t say that you need a certain amount of people to sign up for the cost to receive that low costs. Also, they don’t mind waiting until the last minute to cancel on you. This is especially problematic when the other course I was looking into taking is occurring this week (and it’s too late for me to sign up for it).
Save yourself the time and hassle and go to a different company. The Knowledge Academy has no problem trying to rip you off.
