Unique event venue in the historic Wonder Bread Factory. Industrial exposed brick, beams and concrete. State of the art presentation technology. On-​site furniture included. Our venue is great for Galas, Fundraisers, Receptions, Corporate Meetings, and Weddings. 200m from the Shaw/​Howard Metro. All proceeds go to support the international non-​profit Youth For Understanding.

History

Established in 2015.

In the early 1900’s in the Washington, DC’s Shaw neighborhood, confectioners worked in this now historic factory baking Wonder Bread and tasty Hostess Cakes. In factory closed in the 1980′s, moved its operations elsewhere and the building sat vacant for almost 20 years.

Youth For Understanding resides in the building and rents out The Event Space. Any proceeds from venue support the international non-​profit that is working to create intercultural understanding throughout the globe!
