Stuck eating at hotel with storms outside. Wish I would have braved the weather. Ordered ricotta prosciutto ravioli, sauce taste like out of a can. Ravioli just ok. Ordered xtra bread failed to deliver. Hope the lava cake is good.

We chose to have dinner in the hotel before going to the Opera at the Kennedy Center to save time, so we were here slightly before the dinner rush. Service was superb, and the steak I ordered was perfectly to my liking in cooking and flavor. Straightforward white linens and a decent wine list make this a standard upscale dining experience. I enjoyed my Cabernet as my husband did his Merlot from the selection available by the glass. We split a cheesecake for desert and were very well pleased overall.

We had dinner at the Atrium Restaurant inside the Washington Marriott, and I was surprised by the quality of the food and service. My lobster bique was filled with chunks of lobster, and my NY strip was pretty good. Our server was wonderful. Will definitely try this place again next time we stay at the Washington Marriott.

I have had some fantastic pieces of steak, while sitting at the bar. Sam the bartender is one of the best, he’s been there for like 20 years. I’ve been coming to the Washington Marriott for the last 15 years and the service is usually great. Friendly, personal service at the bar and the food’s pretty good too. The breakfast buffet, as hotel buffets for $ 20 go, is pretty good, try the omelet station if you want something custom. Usually very fast service too.

This restaraunt is located right inside of the Washington Marriott on 22nd St. It’s really close to the metro station(blue & orange) line is also 10 minutes away by cab from the White House. The food ordered was just awesome! From their calamari to their breakfast this hotel truly knows how to hook it up. Except with their price. It’s a little on the steep side. Before entering the restaraunt their is a bar area for those of you that would prefer a less formal dining experience. I’m raving about the food but the one star down is for the customer service this lady did not provide. We wanted to order to go and she told us to go to the bar to order since she was chatting it up with her friends on the phone. Plus the bartender was busy… she knew that. but she insisted we order through the bartender… Not cool in my book. None the less this place is a nice dining experience if you don’t want to leave the hotel.
