Business Owner

Talib I. Karim manages TEC Law that specializes in assisting clients with probate, wills, real estate, and child custody matters. Talib’s college career was launched at the U.S. Air Force Academy, in Colorado. Ultimately, Talib earned his degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Law from the prestigious Howard University.

Over his career, Talib has spent a number of years in the public sector. Talib served as the Special Counsel to the Mayor of the District of Columbia, Chief Counsel and Legislative Director for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and an honors program staffer with the Federal Communications Commission. As a private practice lawyer, Talib has represented a cross-​section of clients including physicians and hospitals; land developers; environmental engineers; satellite companies; cable programmers; Fortune 500 government contractors; public officials; and A-​list entertainers.
