Not only is the tea fabulous food in an unparalleled setting, the revenues help pay for the maintenance and enhancement of the stunning grounds and gardens of the Washington National Cathedral. The view of the city from the tower is terrific and it is a perfect place for an overview of the Bishop’s Garden.

This is an absolutely lovely way to spend an afternoon in Washington. Tea, sandwiches and scones are served in the observation level of the National Cathedral following an interesting and informative tour.
