Subway

As other poster said its a great location, close to my work. Alas it remains closed. Guess I’ll have to hoof it down the other side of the hill to the Capitol Hill SE location.

What a rip-​off this place was.
I ordered the steak and cheese. I am used to steak & cheese sandwiches with lots of steakum meat in them. The ones at Union Station don’t do a bad job filling it up, even if it is a bit on the small side.
But at Subway? They got their foot-​long bread out and pulled out what looked like a ½ cup plastic scoop, the kind for measuring flour. They scooped up some meat and dispersed it on the bread. I am not kidding — the meat was so few and far between it was mostly just bread with a sprinkling of meat. They added the allotment of 4 cheese slices and stuck it in the oven. I couldn’t believe it. It was basically a bread sandwich.
What an unethical, shoddy, lousy way to sell sandwiches. The people who work here look like they couldn’t care less what they are offering.
Don’t go here.
