He has performed 2 gum surgeries for me, each of which was a thousand times better than previous gum surgeries from other periodontists — hardly any pain and can barely even see the work! I’ve been going there for regular check-​ups for years, and he’s been closely monitoring my gum recession. He even called me at home off-​hours to check on me after I had an emergency root canal problem — he clearly cares about his patients! In addition, his staff is very friendly, both behind the front desk and the hygienists.

Great doctor and team. Dr. Kaufman fixed a gum graft that another doc off DuPont Circle had botched twice. His dental hygienist, Marina, is amazing. She is very detailed and holds you responsible if you don’t do what you’re supposed to do at home. They have set me straight. Reception team is very sweet as well.
