Don’t bother. The food is quite expensive for what you get. I ordered a Lamb sandwich, the meat was extremely tough and unseasoned. They lathered on a thick layer of sauce. but ultimately the sandwich was pita, sauce, lettuce, lamb chunks. Most of the reviews for this truck were posted by the owners and staff members, so buyer beware.

Smile Grill– a food truck with a cute and sunny design that makes Middle-Eastern inspired food in big portions. This beef schwarma salad was MASSIVE, and ate more like a giant, shell-less taco rather than a salad. It was pile of iceberg, diced raw onion, tomatoes, flakes of beef, corn and carrot sticks covered in shredded cheese and topped with a drizzling of tahini and hot sauce(you can choose tzatziki if you prefer. It was big enough for my lunch and dinner. Everything tastes decent except the carrot sticks, they’re just awkwardly there, like a bunch of anti-social wallflowers getting in the way of the party. Go home carrot sticks. ANYWAYS, this wasn’t amazing but decent and a good value.

No thanks. The salad itself was awesome. HOWEVER I did get lamb salad and the lamb were huge chunks with lots of fat on them. Not tender at all. The plastic fork and knife just didn’t work in cutting the meat. Not a good experience, I will not be eating there again.

I feel bad for dogging this place, but I had the chicken platter here and it was bad. The chicken was soggy, and the tzatziki sauce was unlike any I’ve ever seen before, and not in a good way. The tzatziki was an off-white milky color, the look and consistency of yogurt that’s been left out of the fridge too long. Also, the«salad» they give you for a side looked more like pico de gallo than an actual salad. There is a tiny bit of lettuce, which is completely covered by chopped tomatoes, onions and green peppers. Again, it looks like pico de gallo and tastes like randomly-paired vegetables without any sauce or seasoning. All this for $ 10(tax included).(Side note: This DC food truck scene is getting ridiculous. Not only are the prices higher than most brick-and-mortar stores, but the food just isn’t good.) I’m giving an extra star because the couple working were friendly. That was the only upside to my visit today.
