Shapiro & Company

I moved in a few weeks ago to a Shapiro & Co property in Woodley Park, and I can’t recommend the management company highly enough. The building is immaculately maintained, the management staff are all super friendly and available ²⁴⁄₇ to help with whatever I’ve needed, and their buildings are located right on the red line.
I deliberated over 10 – 15 different apartments throughout the city, and came close to renting a studio right on DuPont Circle, and I’m glad I went with the Woodley Park location instead. Utilities are included, they made moving in a snap, the laundry facilities were just updated (and less costly than any other building/​management property had quoted), the gym has new equipment, the unit itself is massive, I can go on and on.
I snagged a random, price-​reduced unit and they helped me to coordinate my move within two weeks, and were very accommodating of my schedule. I’ve barely been at my apartment since, and the whole management staff already knows my name, and is super engaging.
My only regret is not signing a 2-​year lease with them. I doubt I’ll move out come lease end!
