History

Established in 2010.

Farhad Assari, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sauca, was an international businessman and world traveler that always found the best foods wherever he walked — literally — the food that was served from carts and small windows on the street.

Assari has taken his own travel and ‘no reservations’ food experiences from around the world and raised street food to the next level, with a globally inspired menu that will travel across DC. «The Sâuçá brand is more than just serving amazing food from the Sâuçámobile, it’s about interacting on many levels with our guests,» says Assari.

«We’ll connect to them directly on the street with our uniquely designed and graphically enhanced vehicle, but we’ll also connect to them virtually, through the technology, such as the web site, our FaceBook, Twitter and Yelp pages, through mobile phones and through our virtual video and audio feeds streaming from www.eatsauca.com. This is the ultimate example of social media anytime, anywhere!»
