I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with their crepes and their prices! Everything was incredibly reasonable from their drinks to crepes. I ordered their apple crêpe for $ 5.95, but I was here with a group of 10 people who had an assortment of from the menu. I tried a variety of different crepes both sweet and savory. I would highly recommend this place for any one wanting to grab something on the cheap, but without quality being compromised. Best part — they’re open late on weekends. They offer outside seating and limited indoor seating. There are only 2 bathrooms. No alcohol is served here. The offer Illy coffee. Enjoy!

DC Crêpe scene is competitive«af». This one is nice… a bit pricy. I like the savory stuff… worth its weight in berries alone, especially if you shop at Whole Foods. Service could be a bit better.

I love the Illy coffee. I love the savory and the sweet crepes. And the service is always great.

The crepes are far from spectacular(you can easily make better ones at home — half of the crepes seem to feature primarily nutella). The only redeeming factors of this café is its Illy Coffee and convenience to my workplace.

Overpriced crepes that you can literally make at home. For ex, strawberry and nutella in a crêpe. I had a savory one that consisted of chicken, bell peppers, and forgot what else. It tasted like spaghetti. Meh. It was near our hotel so the convenience was good.

I’m not exactly a connoisseur of French food or crepes, but this place was awesome! Husband and I ordered an egg, spinach & cheese, ham, egg & cheese, and blackberry crêpe to share. We left satisfied but not overly full and feeling like it was the best breakfast we had in a while! The only thing that would have made it better for me was chocolate milk as I am not a coffee drinker but my husband loved the coffee!

All my friends and I wanted to do was eat outdoors on a beautiful sunny day. When every place in the vicinity had a 2+ hour wait, we headed to Point Chaud and I was definitely impressed. Excellent crepes!

They need a lot of work. It’s only two stars because they have Illy coffee. The coffee prices are absurd. I agreed with Trux. S, $ 3 for a 12 oz. drip coffee to go is unheard of. Also, if you are charging that much, at least have real half-and-half or milk available for people to put in their coffee. Definitely would not go back for coffee.

I haven’t had a crêpe in years and for some strange reason this morning I acquired a serious craving for one. My coworkers told me about Point Chaud Café a while ago and raved about how delicious the food is. They weren’t stretching the truth on the taste but they kinda stretched the truth on the size of them. That’s not to say they aren’t a fair size but for the price I’m not so sure. My apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon crêpe was nearly $ 7($ 6.51 to be exact). It was definitely tasty but man it just wasn’t enough lol. I expected the apples to be larger slices but they were chopped up mini squares. Kind of a bummer but it was good… *shrugs* I almost ordered another one but many of them ranged from $ 7.50 to nearly $ 10! I definitely didn’t want to spend 15 $ on breakfast this morning. I would love to try another one but it would HAVE to be on someone else’s expense.

Really excellent(and affordable) local Crêpe Shop with countless options & superb Illy French coffee. We visited three(3) times on our trip. Each time, the food was top notch & the service was friendly and prompt. The breakfast Crêpes rocked with great fresh flavors. Our highlight was the Chestnut & Strawberry Crêpe… Creamy, fruity and amazingly rich, and not too sweet. We fought for the last bite! It’s hard to spot Point Chaud Crêpes Café on the street as they’re in a modern building with neither awning nor grand entrance. Signage is very basic and depending on the glare, challenging to read in the window. For décor, it’s pretty simple. However when we sat down, we noticed they have this back wall that’s an amalgamation of really cool, authentic doors from France. You might not notice if you were ordering to go. We thought it was a nice touch along with the subtle French music playing in the background. Good local place. We would go back again.

Ordered a small black coffee to go. $ 3.03. Illy or not, that’s ridiculous. It wasn’t as if I saw them grind the beans or put it through the machine. This wasn’t a macchiato, late, or anything fancy. It was plain coffee poured from a thermos. I was shocked they charged me this much. What pisses me off is looking online, even their small fancy coffees and espressos are under $ 3. So, the guy at the register clearly ripped me off. Will look elsewhere for my coffee, thanks.

Dessert crepes are delicious, a good size, and they have a wide variety to choose from. Illy coffee served. Small interior, but quaint. Good for a small group if it’s not already hosting 2 groups of people. We plan to go back and try something from the savory menu since the dessert crepes were so delicious. We spent about $ 50 for 5 people.

Serves illy espresso and has a huge menu of over 50 different crepes, both savory and sweet. I tried the Nutella and raspberry, which comes with two dollops of whipped cream. That plus a double espresso and you might as well be in heaven! We asked the staff if this is a new location and found they had only been open five weeks. Prices range from reasonable to a bit steep. Cheese, egg, and ham(a classic) — $ 6.75, Apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon — $ 5.95, Nutella and banana — $ 5.95, Nutella and raspberry — $ 8. Service was fast, friendly, and even funny… as we were leaving my friend said«we’ll be back…» and the response from the guy behind the counter was, «I know.» Minus one star because the crêpe was just a bit too thick. Maybe with practice they’ll get them a little thinner like a true french crêpe. Despite that one detail I can’t wait to go back!
