History

Established in 2015.

Planet of the Inks was opened to give our clients the ability to experience no limits with their imagination, and have fun creating their own image and allowing us to bring it to life on t-​shirts. We specialize in great customer service in order to provide you with quality custom T-​shirt & apparel printing for great prices. We use top grade ink and vinyl to create the most colorful and bright images for your T-​shirts. No minimum orders required, and there are no color limitations or price differential.

I went back and forth for days with one of their major competitors, trying to tweak designs/​adjust orders, and wasn’t making any progress. Within a few housr, I had an order placed and paid for, with the exact design I wanted initially on the competitor’s site. Extremely prompt email responses to all my questions, I’ll definitely plan on using these guys again.

These guys were terrific. They were so patient with me whenever I had questions, needed to adjust my order, and even coming in early to work on my order when I stalled in ordering, yet needed the t-​shirts quickly before heading out of town. They went above and beyond at every turn, and if that wasn’t great enough, the work itself came out beautiful. Completely recommend, and I will definitely be using their services again going forward.

Darren rushed an order for me for a last minute Coaches’ gift. He was amazingly pleasant and got the job done even faster than I expected. I normally use CustomInk, but they weren’t able to fulfill my request. Now, I am much more likely to turn to Planet of the Inks for my next order. I needed some custom t-​shirts made for a race last minute (the day before the race). I called Planet of the Inks and spoke to Darren. This company has excellent customer service. The whole process was very easy (e-​mailed my design, they sent back a mock-​up for me to approve). The shirts were ready early and they looked great! The prices were way cheaper than the online vendors I was initially looking to use. I highly recommend!

I have never felt compelled to write a Unilocal review before, but this place is fantastic! The customer service I experienced here was phenomenal, and the team is extremely responsive to email, answering within a matter of minutes. I needed a custom shirt for a party I am attending, and they printed the shirt exactly how I requested in a matter of days. I had trouble making it to the office during the hours they were open, so they hand-​delivered it to me at my home after hours! I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here and would recommend this company to everyone!

I could not be happier! I had a usual printer that I always go to… Who bailed on me last minute! I searched desperately to find a new printer and came across Planet of the Inks. First of all, the name drew me in. Love it. Second of all, they were quick to get back to my desperate email. The turnaround time was fantastic! Darren is very great at communicating what is going on with your order and since I work in DC he even brought the shirts to me. They look great. I am more than pleased and have definitely found myself a new printer. :D

Planet of the Inks did a great job on my order. Darren was responsive to my initial inquiries and special requests. He was quick at responding to any questions I had. We texted regularly. Darren made himself available after work hours to accommodate my schedule and went out of his way to get me additional shirts after a last minute change to the order. I called up Planet of the Inks looking for a t-​shirt as part of a Valentines gift. As promised they came through with exactly what I asked for. However, I ordered the wrong size, so I was in a pickle come Friday February 13th. I called up Darren (who I believe is the founder) again asking if he could make the same shirt in a different size on Saturday February 14th. He went out of his way to make it happen and again came through with a great shirt/​gift.
On a personal level, I really appreciated the care he put into my customer experience! I wish Planet of the Inks the best of luck.
