Pretty nasty. They practically strip search you to get into the Old Post Office and the choices at the food court certainly weren’t worth it. We both got the stomach upset after eating here.

This was a standard place for me to go throughout my GWU career. The prices are great, they take GWorld and the food is good. However, as I’ve gotten older the place seems to have taken a few steps back. The place doesn’t seem that clean and there aren’t a lot of tables. The place is ok, just not some of hte best chinese food around. I don’t think its a bad place to go, but its not worth going out of your way to come here.

Good appetizers, a bit small and dumpy décor. The kids really liked their smoothies. Service was good.

It’s not mind-blowing Chinese food, but in a pinch it will do. R isn’t a huge fan of Chinese food so we don’t order it very often at home. I happen to be a fan of Chinese food and in order to satiate my cravings I run over to Panda Café in the Old Post Office for lunch every once in a while. I’ve been here several times and my usual lunch is the vegetable noodles with Mongolian Beef and an egg roll. This along with a medium soda used to run me about $ 7.00. I stopped by today and ordered my usual but got a large soda and it cost $ 9.25. The serving of the noodles and beef was larger than usual so perhaps that explains the increase in price. Their offerings cover all the bases of Chinese food, you’ll most likely find what you’re looking for or something close to it. The meats they use are decent quality which goes a long way in my book. I’ve sampled other dishes like the Kung Po Chicken and the General Tso Chicken and it was all good. I think their eggrolls are pretty spectacular. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get lunch from here but it’s not a bad option if you’re in the area and craving some fast Chinese food.

I think the Old Post Office is just awful. They haven’t done anything to it since I thought it was the bomb when I was a 5th grader MAANY years ago. Today, I was in a rush before going to see the Capital Steps and ate here. First, I don’t like when any ethnicity of people mocks any other ethnicity of people. And, the guy working there would say«pollo dulce, pollo dulce» to Latino-looking passers-by, in a kind of mocking way. The phrase kind of grossed me out. But, it was correct. The chicken was not disgusting, but was more of a dessert than a meal.
